Topeka Spur Steak Ranch

After being away for a very long time I was pleasantly satisfied today! I loved my chicken schnitzel and the Brownie was delicious! Service was friendly, fast and efficient! Smiles all around and good food! Thanks Topeka Spur!

The restaurant is big with family size tables. The staff was attentive and pleasant. On a sunny day the seats next to the windows get too hot. We asked to be moved to a shaded area. Might be a good idea for the store get some blinds on that side of the windows. They have a cool play area however it had a very bad smell to it. It could do with a refresher or a deep clean and have some aircon in the area. The food was ok I ordered the chicken and tbone steak. The chicken was succulant and tasty. The steak was tuff and not great tasting which was a bit dissappointing. The kids size ribs look good and the nachos was ok. The guava shake was delish!

I popped in for a quick latte with a friend during my lunch hour. I love the fact that when they know you are pressed for time, they adhere to your requests. You don't have to go and eat. Totally love this place as the service is always good and staff always friendly.Food: 5/5

Not a great experience. My son's pizza was overcooked and dry. The cheese was "crunchy" as he said. Luckily the gentleman who I think is the manager asked if all was OK and they made another one. The kiddies play room STINKS and needs a good vacuum. My son and I are both sick and in bed this entire weekend after visiting. Then when I paid I was told the Spur rewards is offline all weekend. How convenient to tell me AFTER I've ordered. I didn't expect this kind of service after seeing these reviews.

Friendly staff. Good food. Only shocking part was some of the staff having breakfast until 9.45 am on one day and 10.20 am the next day. What seemed to be the floor manager, had a very difficult time with them. We felt very sorry for her. Some people are too kind. Kindness doesn't always work. Rules are rules and work etiquette must be followed. Professionals don't go to work to eat breakfast for an hour, we have our breakfast at home and get only a lunch break at work for a few minutes each day. It was such a sad sight to see such disrespect from the staff. Anyway, at least it was some entertainment on our vacation. Reminded us of the "Dinner for One" show, where one person had to do everything on their own. Btw, when we ordered through Mr D, we received cold food and no cutlery to a hotel of all places.

Waitress had to many tables to attend. I had to call for the manager to assist with basics serviettes, bones plate,.. and got help from her. In all a good place to hand out. Beautiful and helpful staff at the kids corner.Food: 4/5

Since it is located in the KC shopping mall, there is plenty of parking space and it is good to shop before and after meals. The food was delicious, and the speed of the food being served was fast and friendly.Food: 4/5
