Food quality and taste has gone down the drain....the lamb rump was like clothes, no flavour on saltiness, the ribs was old and just plain salty, the seafood pasta tasted like salt pasta, the calmarie was just blanches and covered with tomato paste, what a disappointment, service was slow even tho there were many servers standing around chatting and hanging around, the atmosphere was the only thing good left about, the rest is no good. They also involuntary add 10% service charge. I won't be coming back.
If I could give them 20 stars, I would! Staff members are always wonderfully hospitable and kind - I always feel very well taken care of. Not to mention great food and a very inviting atmosphere. I've loved this Tribeca for many years and continue to do so today
Love the food and the service is wonderful. However, wait staff are unhappy about management and I've been told that both times I've been there. It's a great restaurant but you need to treat your staff better. Unfortunately I won't be back because of the unhappiness of staff. I hope you see this and take this as an opportunity to treat your workers better instead of silencing them.

Yes the coffee is great and the food I enjoyed. But service is really shocking for this kind of establishment, thus the 3 stars. They are always busy, that tells me the customers do not care for slow service? They do add 10% tip on your bill automatically and I do want to commend the waiter that pointed it out to us, she could have easily just kept quiet.
Had a Sunday lunch @ Tribeca standard before we went to the Atterbury theater. Food was deleech. Had a garlic flatbread with extra Moz cheese. Comes with chimichurri, basil pesto and harissa R78 and a little porchetta deboned pork belly R105 my friend had oriental calamari and halloumi and veggies. Great food and vibe and service
What a waste of money it was to go here for breakfast! Previously it was good but today was bad enough that we just won't return. The undercooked patty on the mushy overpriced breakfast burger R130 if you include the sneaky 10% surchage they add on all bills must rate as one of the worst burgers I ever had. The patty was literally raw I asked for medium. Sending it back did not help either. It came back in the same condition. Service was lacklustre and we waited almost 60 minutes for our food despite the restaurant not being busy. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told the manager wasn't there that day - go figure!
Did not have what I wanted off the menue, that happens...... What I ordered was good. Waiter was either new or not focusing, took long to a knowledge and tend the table. Needed to be called through other waiters.
I was disappointed. My medium to well-done steak was done raw to medium. My guest's steak was too well done. I suspect the order was not relayed correctly. Vegetables were very el-dente.
