Gave birth here, the doctors are friendly with the nurses. The was a lady who worked at the kitchen serving us with the food, she was very friendly her name is Zanele, the food scale was little for a breastfeeding mom and we asked her to give us some bread she made a plan with extra tea during the night, the service is good if they can improve the kitchen section then they'll be the best
The service is always top of the world and the staff are friendly from the security guards, cleaners, nurses and doctors. They never disappoint in giving patience the best service. Keep up the badass job by being dedicated to your work your warmth that's what keeps us getting better everyday cause it's like we are home with our family. I came at night, around 10pm, with excruciating toothache. After a little while the doctor saw me, they put a drip on my arm. After a little while I felt a lot better. They discharged me but offered me a night stay and a blanket. I chose to leave, I was at home by 1am. The prescription works very well I'm no longer suffering from pain now I'm fine. The nurse was very friendly and doctor was very helpful.
The service of the hospital has deteriorated so much, the food is bad, the service is slow, pharmacy delays with medications. It is sad that good sisters such as Sister Mkhongi will lose good patient because of management. I am not going back there anymore. There's so system at all. Sick patients moved around just because the hospital has no patients was the worst. Being ignored when in pain. Never again
I started at casualty..i was attended immediately.The dr said i needed to be admitted, I waited at casualty because there were no beds understandable so.When I was finally admitted at 3pm..I didn't see the Dr till the following day after 11am..I was booked 2 go to the theater Sunday.. I last ate Saturday past 8pm..I only went to the theater after 5pm no communicationnothing from the dr n nurses..you can imagine the pains I was in especially if you have ulcers and you haven't eaten for more than 17hrs. Same story happened again on Tuesday, I waited more than 9hours. The nurses are friendly but when you call them, they take their time. Never coming back here or taking my family to this hospital
My name is Fakazile. I arrived at the clinic at 11:30am. Waited for 2 full hours before my triage. Went into the consulting rooms at exactly 14:10pm. The time is now 14:49 and haven't seen the Dr. 3 hours later I'm still at the hospital and not seen the Dr. The service at this hospital has deteriorated and there is simply no sense of proper customer service. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. If you value your health, visit another hospital
I went the my child was sick everything was okay at the doctors room go to the ward hell its very bad peads ward shem no peace u will b there the whole day with the bby the nurses a rude its like they were all taught how to be rude my child messed her linen as she had diarrhoea u will ask for a linen they will tell u they dont have a linen in a peads ward wat the hell the service has really deteriorated to the worst i am nt taking my child therenor any family members
On the 26 Jan 23 I had a horrible experience with these hospital tshepo themba I was schedule for theater by Dr Victor mallitgeral sygeon he admitteded me in the ward from 11am mind you I was fasting due to theater, he only came to me at 22:30 and he did not even apologize he told me you must eat and sleep I will see you the following day,we had a big altercation because you don't treat a patient liketh at
Brought my son in as it was an emergency, waited at casualty for 3 hours no assistance from the doctor. I had to go to a different hospital guys if you know whats good for you, you will avoid going to this hospital.
Good people if you value your life or a love ones life do not go to this hospital. Even more so if it is an emergency. They are not interested in helping you. The person doing the scans/xrays apparently left at 13pm and will only be back the following day. Your casualty doctor also values his lunch time. So as a patient you get admitted nobody knows whats happening and you will only see your doctor on Monday because at this hospital nobody works on a weekend. They admit not know what exactly the problem is. When you ask for a transfer they tell you you have to wait for the doctor. You feel like you are being held prisoner. People dont be like me, i didn't check the reviews before i went there.... you shall die even if you have comprehensive medical aid. Please do not allow yourself to be admitted in this hospital or even more so avoid their emergency ward its like a provincial government hospital well except the rates they charge you. Yoh guys Bara is better. But i also suspect its because they are servicing black people hence they don't feel obligated do take care of patients. I cannot stress this enough flora hospital is 10 mins away. Atleast there the medical staff cares about their patients and the facilities are taken care of because a hospital is supposed to be clean unlike tshepo themba.
