Tsitsikamma Lodge & Spa

Amazing Lodge with great staff. The website is quite underrated as the actual experience and beautiful rooms with great views are far greater than what my expectations were based on what I saw on the website. We had a great stay and had been treated with amazing food. We find it hard to understand why the lodge is only rated at 3 stars as we feel they deserve much more recognition. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the Spa bath was quite a treat. I would highly recommend Tsitsikamma Lodge and spa

The service was excellent all round, from the warm friendly faces at reception to the helpful gentlemen who took our luggage to our cabin, to the extra inviting staff at the restaurant, we can't say thank you enough. The food was absolutely amazing and we were spoilt for choice. To top it all off, we met some really amazing guests and experience some of the trails within the grounds. Waking up to the picturesque mountains made it feel like we were in another world. We enjoyed it so much, we have already booked our next stay :

Pros: Good location, beautiful surroundings and a trail that starts straight from the lodge. Cons: Our cabin wasn't very clean and you could easily tell that almost all the amenities were old and under maintenanced. Our biggest problem was rusty brown water that literally left us stinking with iron. The friendly staff opened the faucet and let the water flow as this was their only solution. Obviously it didn't work. Don't expect much and this would be a mediocre place to stay while visiting tsitsikamma.

The staff made it a memorable experience.All of them display friendliness with a high level of professionalism.The food is excellent We recommended it to our families and friends. Gripes:WiFi needs to be sorted out Monkeys stealing the data It was scorching hot and the fan that was high up on the ceiling did not made any difference...an upgrade in the cooling is recommended...but Even these small gremlins won't keep me away from the Tsitsikamma Lodge

If you want privacy travelling with the kids ,this won't be the place to stay ... The cabin is beautiful and the open plan is very unique It was clean and the staff are very friendly ,from the reception to the restaurant staff ,they really went all out to make us feel welcomed Dinner was great but wish they could have more variety especially if they are serving Buffet not limiting us to one starch ,one vegetable ,there must be different sauces if your serving Greek salad and even with desert you can't serve a malva pudding without a custard but as for the meat ..I really enjoyed all three that were being served The Restaurant waiters waited for us while me and husband were talking since the cabin doesn't have privacy and we are used to talking about different topics until late ,so we had to do it in the restaurant since we didn't want to disturb our kids sleeping .. But our stay was just superb ,the bed were comfortable and our kids had a great time playing with other kids Thank you to everyone who made our stay easy

The self catering room was horrible, I found a dirty bowl in the microwave. Later the same night I found a scorpion in the bedroom. There is no wifi in the room. The couches are old and very uncomfortable. Food at the restaurant was very salty and tough to eat. The location of the lodge however is good given the number of activities one can do.

Very neat and lovely place to stay. We felt so welcome and I even got a surprise birthday prezzie from them. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food are amazing. We had a very nice stay.Rooms: 5/5

location was the only pretty thing there. was there in winter. power kept tripping. heater was broken aswell as the other one we requested. the braai was in TERRIBLE condition. table in the kitchen was extremly flimsy and loose. rooms need serious attention. back view was terrible and so messy because u could see right into the backyard of staff members homes. no wifi signal. the spa was closed because of rain, even tho we made appointments and after that mixed up the dates so we didnt even go. do not recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tisitsikamma loge .The place is so beautiful and peaceful.The staff is very friendly and helpful.Their food is amazing. The loge is very neat and tidy.Kids play room avaliable and for adults and swimming area .they also have hiking trails that are beautiful and must see .They also have amazing spa facility aswell

We spent the past weekend at the Lodge with 2 other couples and it was amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a small fridge. the spa bath was just awesome! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was delicious. The pool was clean and inviting and perfect to cool off in. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, they even arranged a surprise birthday cake for me with my husband. I can only praise Tsitsikamma Lodge for a great weekend with them.
