Genuinely helpful bunch and super knowledgeable. Were able to quickly help problem solve an ignition and key issue on my vehicle. Even helpfully oversaw the loading of the vehicle by the towing company when I couldn’t be there in time. Really superb service!

Very efficient and helpful staff, I need a plastic car key cut which I could take in to the ocean when I'm at the beach. They sorted me out for a very reasonable price. The key fits and works perfectly in my car and has no issues with the ocean. I just make sure to rinse it off in fresh water afterwards. The shop is small but large enough for what's needed. They do sell other lock and key products too. There is free on street parking right infront of the shop. Easy to spot on the main road opposite Mr price home.

What a blessing to land up here. We had a damaged remote car key, walked in with low expectation - 'Chris' assisted & magically fixed it in just a few minutes - with no charge!! Refused to accept payment. Can't thank u enough, Chris!! Will not hesitate to return with my next key issue! :

Wasted 3 weeks here. I urgently needed a spare set of keys cut for an old car. Went in first time and they said they would order the keys and call when ready. Never heard from them. Went in 12 days later and only one of three keys were there. They then promised to have all keys in within 2 days or so and call me to collect. I had to eventually phone them about one week later and they promptly told me that they couldn’t cut my type of key at all. Frustrating. Update: since posting this review, I was personally contacted by Dawie at Turnkey - not for an apology - but rather to accost me over the phone. I was called numerous names which included “idiot” and expletives not worth re-typing. He also messaged me twice, claiming that he now had my key blanks but wouldn’t give them to me and that I had messed up their 5 star rating goal. I personally don’t find this upsetting but I think that people should know that this is how one can be treated at Turnkey.

These guys are amazing, doubt I will ever use any other locksmith unless I move far far away from Cape Town.
