Awesome service, great helpful staff.
We rented a unit at the Sandton U Can Store. Some time afterward we got a call to meet with the manager Annelize. The owner was present when we got there. We were told that there was an attempted break in. Bolt cutters were used on the padlocks and the lock mechanisms were virtually broken off. The damaged lock mechanisms were repaired and we were told that we were lucky because they almost got in. Their suspicion was that the unit next to us with hair products was the actual target. Some time after this Annelize called to ask for our keys as electric work had to be done. She assured us that the electrician was trustworthy and would be monitored especially given our incident. We recently started clearing the unit. A double bed mattress has gone missing with the matching base left behind. A box of handbags and a briefcase of documents also gone. After contacting Lisa, we were told they would investigate. After some three weeks of no feedback I called and the feedback was that Annelize had said that there was no requirement for electrical work to be performed on our unit and she would call to explain. I am still waiting for Annelize to call. This facility was not secure and there is no recourse when your items go missing. There also appears to be no concern from the management.
Annelize is not only extremely helpful and professional, she makes it an absolute delight to know that your account is taken seriously and that you are up to date with the information related to your storage space. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Sandton, clean and well maintained store rooms. Friendly staff and convenient times. They are flexible too to offer out of hour access at a fee.
Nothing is too much trouble for U can Store Sandton. Annelize and her team are AWESOME!
