UIF Assistance helps unemployed contributors in claiming UIF benefits.

Description

We assist UIF contributors who have retired, been retrenched, dismissed or whose contract has expired to claim unemployment benefits from the UIF so that they do not have to physically go in several times to the Department of Labour to receive their due benefits.

Mission

UIF Unemployment Assistance aims to assist all South African UIF contributors in successfully claiming their unemployment benefits relating to retrenchment, retirement, end of contract, closure of business and dismissals.

Products

The services we offer are:

1. Assistance with UIF claims in respect of retrenchment, retirement, end of contract and dismissals.

2. Employer and employee registrations for UIF.

3. Registrations of private companies, change in directorships/memberships, registered office address, financial year ends, name changes and attending to the payment of annual duties due to the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).

Been there 3 times now, still not helped. They cut the queue before 9am but close at 4pm. Security guards.. Well I don't even have to say how incredibly rude they are just to answer the simplest of questions. Do yourself a favour and try a different office. Good luck everyone because it seems easier to win the lotto than to get money which you have paid for years
This place is terrible... Honestly when u finally get a chance to go inside if they did not cut the line they are offline.... The guys are on their phones u wait in the line till they tell u it's lunchtime after that they help few fast fast ...then they knock off
Other than a very long day there. I feel terrible for the staff that work here. The amount of people they serve on a daily basis. I take my hat off to them they need more staff. The security staff there are quite clued up on the were and process. So thanks for being efficient and always helpful.
I only had bad experience there , they don't mind returning people for simple things instead of telling them what they need they'd rather send you home and say you should come back tomorrow I even met with someone today who's been there for about a year now for her uif maternity pay and she's been sent home for a simple signature that she can fix instead they'll send you home ... I personally have been waiting for my uif pay , since I've submitted my documents last year November and they said everything was fine and come Jan they started by telling me they can't see my documents ,and I've submitted them to Kenny and on Tuesday he's the one who told me to go back home to fix the amount on the UI-2.7 and instead of telling me the correct information they told me to change the amount to a different one and I went back yesterday only to find that the amount that the changed to is also incorrect and today I found someone who was better understanding cause I was complaining that I've used more than 300 already that's when they were able to call my manager and explain the problem, still going back on Monday hopefully the treatment will be better. Kenny is the worst person to be working with people.....
Long queues outside but empty inside in the times that I've been there. There's always about 3 consultants working while other stations are empty, this may be the reason as to why the service is slow and staff is grumpy. What frustrates me is that people are turned away after 12 while working hours are up to 4pm. Phone always goes unanswered
Once you arrive as early as 0600hrs you'll get your things done on time, their services are quite quick and organised if you've got all the required documents intact.
I can only say that I am horrified, appalled, disappointed and utterly aghast at how members of the public, who I may say are mostly desperate and unemployed as it is, are treated by staff at this department. The security guard who let's people in, the lady at the front door, the guy helping at one of the counters ... among the rudest individuals I have ever come across. It is a shame that they are employed to service the claiming public visiting there to get help. They seem to have lost sight of common good manners, treatment of fellow human beings and just general expected politeness.
Security personnel are not helpful though regarding where to go and will let you wait in a wrong queue for hour's. Then when you try complain the ask you to go join another queue
I am heavily pregnant 40 weeks to be exact there is no assistance I got they say they have been offline since a couple of days The one in Roodepoort the gaurds just shut the door in my face and the official were smoking outside I was event told by the guard at the randburg Centre to sit out side cause I questioned why they never answer the land line and that I'm calling it where is it ringing
Currently Under renovations. Working only on Mon, Wed & Friday. Get there early because they cut the queues off very early.
