Much like the other 1-star reviews, I have had a terrible experience with Unique Laundromat in regards to them misplacing my clothes. After having to follow-up with them on 4 separate occasions with nothing having been done about it - the owner Linda finally phoned the person responsible for accidentally taking my laundry. Linda was completely hostile to this person which in turn made them unresponsive to requests to bring back my laundry. I then had to get involved myself and drive through to Gordon's Bay to get my own laundry back. This entire process left me without clean underclothes for 3 weeks. Very frustrating experience all-in-all.
It is indeed unique laundromat. Excellent service, everything is perfectly clean and folded. Even my socks are paired and undies perfectly folded. And all this in less than 24 hours for only $5.20 for 2.6 kilo
Absolutely appalling service. I sent in clean, white bed sheets for ironing and got them back covered in someone else’s blood. Absolutely disgusting. When I took them back to show the manager, she brushed me off with a nonchalant “So?” She was not bothered that this is the standard of their service, neither did she apologise. We are paying for a service, I’d rather go back to doing it all myself. If you can use another service provider do so.
Staff are so helpful and friendly. Fabulous and efficient service. Have been using for over 10 years.
We regularly used the laundromat and they have stolen about 10 items of clothing from us over time. We asked the manager about this and she did not care. We do not know whether they are unable to manage their staff or if it is a scam by the company, but we will take our business elsewhere. This gotten ridiculous so I would recommend counting your clothing before and after you take it, it's probably better to go somewhere else.
The best laundry service in Cape Town. Very professional. I got the owner, who personally picked up and the delivered the laundry to the hotel where I stay. She is very friendly. The results are also amazing. My clothes are clean, tidy and smelling fresh..! I do recommend anyone to try their service. Keep up the good work..!
Excellent fast, efficient, affordable service. They advised delivery within 24 hours but delivered within 6 hours which was unexpected, but greatly appreciated. Will definitely utilize their service again and recommend to others. Thank you unique laundromat!
Unique Laundromat has been our laundry service provider for a decade. The laundry is professionally done at the highest level consistently "wowing" our very demanding Guests at the Sugar Hotel. The presentation is one of a top level while the scent of the laundry is refreshing. The professionalism of Erica and Danie is exemplary to all in the service industry. The pricing is fair while the winner is in their fast turn around period. Well done Unique Laundromat, keep it up.
