The U Joint has got to be the best propshaft business in Joburg. This is the second time and I'm very happy with the service received from Carla and Masinda today.

I have just received service excellence from Carla and Masimba with my propshaft yoke issue that other companies in the area were not able to assist with. Winning attitude!!

I' m really not sure about this company. I took my car in for the cv joints to be checked and for a quote on replacement of the cv joints. I was quite surprised that when I requested a price on it, I was told about "import prices" for a car that was manufactured locally and all original parts are available from the dealership cheaply. I was then told that repacking of cv joints are priced at R750 each. It was hilarious since new cv joints on my car costed less than that. Needless to say I never received a quote. My cv joints were replaced with the original parts at a reputable workshop without any issue and at a very reasonable price.

Liers! Liers! Liers. I went there on a Tuesday with broken cv shafts solid round bar steel and was told that they would be able to repair them with some heating and welding and that they would be 100% a day later. I called in the following Monday morning and was told that they were just finishing up with them and that I should come collect them at 2pm sharp. When I got there the owner, Andre, was no where to be found and NOTHING, NO WORK AT ALL had been done on the shafts. That is how they conduct business at U Joint. FYI, apparently steel bar shafts CAN NOT be welded, as I found out from other companies who offer the same services.

People are friendly and helpful and the service and prices are excellent
