I purchased glasses for a prescription lense specifically. I was told the one I chose would be suitable. When I took them to the opticians the following day I was told they basically not suitable at all and would break if they tried to put a new lense in them as they are plastic acetate. I would like a full refund as I was incorrectly sold something when I stressed and asked numerous times are they suitable for prescriptions. Their is no information about the material used in the product and I am annoyed as I have purchased many glasses before from this shop as sun glasses. But this was a different need and I don't want to exchange as they will all eh the same material.
I had a problem with my glasses and they changed them. They were intact but there was something off with the polarized lens. They have a very good variaty of glasses and if you are getting them for the looks at a relatively affordable price, this shop is for you. If you are really in for the quality of the optic and the durability of the product, consider reviewing other options.
SCAMMERS DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased sunglasses online and after two weeks I contacted unknown eyewear as they had not arrived. They told me they were out of stock, despite emailing me the order had been dispatched and sending me a FAKE tracking number that did not work. If I had not contacted them they would never have told me the product was out of stock and would have happily stolen my money. After contacting them, they told me I would be provided with a full refund, however this never arrived. When I contacted them they said the order had been dispatched, despite them previously telling me it had never been dispatched and they were out of stock. They kept changing the story and outright LYING. I had to report them to the bank as they haven’t replied and still have not provided the refund. I will also be reporting Uknown Eyewear to PayFast the payment service they use. DO NOT ORDER ITS A SCAM.
The bad reviews make no sense. Service was amazing. These are not expensive glasses, they’re meant to be fun and affordable. Not sure how a pair of glasses can break in a single day no matter how bad the quality is. There’s something that doesn’t sound right about the existing reviews. We were doing some last minute afrikaburn shopping and this was the perfect spot.
Over priced poor quality glasses, bought them on Thursday and, by Saturday the lens dropped out. Forget about being assisted with a return or refund, customer services is non existence. A bunch of scams and crooks!!!
Nice models, nice looking shop, but poor quality and very poor service. Used glasses for 2 days, then 1 leg snapped too easy. Before I even explained in the shop what happend he'd say in a little bit frustrated way its fully my fault and there's nothing they can do about it. I even showed the guy in the shop how easy it snaps broke the other leg in front of him too easy too, but unfortunatly it was impossible to come to a solution. As I said, nice shop and models, poor quality and very poor service.
Nice range of glasses. However, your customer service and communication is very poor. On your website, waiting period for a delivery is 72hrs, but it’s been 6 days excluding weekend since I’ve been waiting for the delivery of my order. I emailed your store regarding this with no response. On Instagram you told me to email [email protected] to track my order. Still there is no response till date. Perhaps, I should accept the hard truth - my order is not coming.
What a great online experience with Unknown Eyewear! Upon placing my order, I immediately received a notification of my order. I was also notified that one of the items I purchased wasn't in stock and I was offered another item in place of that. And it was perfect! I loved the customer experience and receiving prompt responses regarding my order. I got free delivery and a gift too! You won't be disappointed!
Very bad quality! I bought a pair of sunglasses two days ago from Unknown Eyewear and they fell apart after just one day. 349 rand for this awful quality. I went back to the store to ask if the guys could help me replace them or if they could give me my money back, but the guys at the store Unknown Eyewear told me that this crack was all my fault basically . 1 star rating is to generous for this quality to be honest, I would have given them -1 if that was possible. I would strongly advice you NOT to buy anything from them.
Nice range of glasses but when I bought a pair they cracked on day 1 which can happen, so I headed back to return them but they would not exchange them cause I did not have the receipt... I get it you need proof of payment which I was happy to provide digitally but got told without the original receipt there is nothing that can be done. In this digital day and age you cannot be only accept physical receipts. In short R300 down the drain for faulty eyewear on day 1.
