Up the Creek Music Festival

Just loved this festival. What an awesome bunch of people hanging out at Up The Creek and the vibe is just great. The band's were great and the vibe on the river just fantastic. Definitely a festival to keep on your list every year

The greatest music festival I have ever been to im my life!

An amazing festival of wonderfully friendly people, great music, and memorable experiences. The relative smallness of the event keeps it intimate and memorable.

Have not missed one since 2001, The festival on the banks of the Breede river is a must for anyone older than 18. Camping and tented accommodation available. Live music on various stages from Thursday to Sunday. A river runs through it and provides the best venue.

Only South Africans will have a jol in the rain! What a amazing experience, great & healthy food stalls and of course the music.

Best festival I've been to. Chilled and vibey all weekend long.

It was my first time at up the creek. I would highly recommend. I made the right decision by paying a little more and slept in the heartbreak motel. No queues for showers, hot water, clean toilets etc. The music was brilliant. The river was quite low, but still loads of fun.

Absolutely excellent festival, I can highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys music festivals. They have a wide selection of bands which play so there is always something to listen to. The location of the event is epic as well because you get to float on a river while you listen to music which is brilliant. As far as accommodation goes that depends on how much you feel like spending, you could come with a tent, pay for the glamping experience, bring a camper or even stay nearby in a hotel and drive through. For food there are many options available so you can decide what you want to eat. You also have the option of bringing your own food along. I will definitely be attending again.
