Urban Tails Palmyra

This little shop in Palmyra Junction, Palmyra Road, Claremont, is one of the friendliest little shops in the area. It doesn't matter if you've been there once or a hundred times, they know your name and remember the pets you've told them about. We've had some pets needing specific items and they have always been able to advise and supply what we need. Our cats now only eat the Sterilised Cat food wet and I'm sure they keep a supply especially for us. We appreciate that, thank you.

This place is such a rip-off. R120 for a 1.5kg crystal litter when you can get. 1.8kg bag at Checkers for R85. Lesson learnt.

Great pet food store with helpful staff.

Sadly very poor customer service! I bought a very expensive bag of bones from them that smelt terrible upon opening them, my dogs wouldn't touch them and they love bones. I asked if they could be brought back and sent back to the supplier and they said no they don't allow returns on treats, even when theres something wrong with them! I won't be buying anything from here again.

I really want to love this store but every time I go in here the experience is different and it is inconsistent. They dont answer their phones, they are insanely overpriced on their dog food, treats and toys and I have come in many times where the staff and managers are openly arguing and being rude to one another. Sometimes the staff are friendly and helpful and sometimes they are rude. Very inconsistent place

Just note that the opening times shown on google are different to their actual opening times. They close at 6pm and not 7pm.

The store is very well-stocked although very full and hard to move around especially when busy with customers. The staff are helpful and to-the-point. You can probably find anything you're looking for!
