Finally found an honest and very knowledgeable man in Leon. Tells you exactly what the problems are and solves them without delay. Rebuilt our Nissan NP 300 head with no fuss, didn't break the bank and did more than originally quoted for, at the quoted price. Thank you Leon, you can add The Arti Group to your client base. If you have a head problem vehicle that is, don't go anywhere else as this company comes highly recommended.

I'm proud to state I've rated Veringa's Motor Clinic & Engineering by comparing their services & workmanship with 10 other vehicle repair shops that I've personally dealt with during the last 5 years, including one of the agents for one of my cars. I've spent so much fixing problems with my cars, but always dissapointed by bad quality service & poor workmanship some mechanics have. The engine overheated on my Mercedes C230 & I took it to a mechanic quoting me 3 weeks to fix the car. I purchased many new parts, a new engine block, the computer box was tested. He sent the cylinder head, crank shaft, engine block, etc, to his engineers & said that they are the cause for delays & that he won't be finished on time as he quoted. He contacted me to fetch my car 2 months after the time quoted to be finished with the work & I paid his invoice in full when I fetched the car. The car was towed back to him the next day. This happened 5 more times that I collected the car after his call saying it is fixed & then a day or 2 later the car had problems, was not working, & had to go back. He was paid after the first time that I fetched the car from him & the reason why I took it back to him to fix. He gave new reasons for the car not working & that he needed new parts to fix the issues telling me it's the last part I'll need to buy...it wasn't. The last time I got it back was just over a year from when he started working on it. The first time using it after bringing it back from him it broke down. I towed it back home & left it as it is. He couldn't fix it in a year so I doubt that he can & my best choice was to rather walk away & cut my losses...... I've recently had another car at a mechanic "friend" & once again had to cut my losses. Good parts swoped & replaced with damaged parts, he gave me a rear shock from my car as a sample to buy new ones. I gave him a set of new shocks & he fitted second hand shocks onto my car. I landed up taking the car to Hi-Q to test the shocks to prove they are not the new ones I supplied to him & all 4 failed the test proving his dishonesty. Old spark plugs were still in the car after he charged me to do a full service. It's tiring to have to argue & fight with people who do you wrong. Once again I chose to rather cut my losses & walk away, after having a mechanic strip & take parts from my car, fit second hand used parts instead of the new parts I supplied to him & not do the work charged for. So many similar experiences happening to people all over SA, cars being returned in a worse condition then when it went in for repairs. I lost hope & stoped believing that there is a place in Johannesburg that I can take my car to & get it fixed properly, getting the best service we all deserve with good quality technical support. BUT... Yip a huge BUT... I have my faith restored in the absolutely amazing quality workmanship, service & delivery time I received from Veringa's. Already having used Veringa's engineering for a few engineering jobs done for me, on some vehicle cylinder heads, I have left every single time happy & the job has been perfectly done. They can proudly claim precision engineering is a definate quality service that they have & I rate them to be excellent with their engineering workmanship and services. After my last bad experiance I chose to have my car fixed at Veringa's Motor Clinic. My faith in genuine workmanship & amazing service has been restored beyond my expectations. The communication with Veringa's giving me feedback on the problems with my car have been constant. Options on how to go forward to have my car fixed & performing the best it can with all the costs involved, were made clear before starting. I am amazed & gladly overwhelmed with the quality of service I received & highly recommend them & rate them to be one of the best in Johannesburg by far. Thank you Veringa's.....
