Was there just after 19h00 on Saturday 30 April 2022. Lady who assisted was very professional. I asked her what she would recommend and ordered although in my mind I had doubt Well both my husband and I thoroughly enjoy our food. Would highly recommend Vetkoek Maleis in Braam Pretorius Street OK Bazaar Centre

Big portions and really nice. Owners are very friendly. Service is fast and good Parking: Parking infront of shop.

Friendly staff and the offerings on the menu make it so hard to choose, we loved our first experience there and we will definite be going back soon. We got free dessert

Lady assisting me was very friendly and efficient. I ordered ahead via whatsapp, when I got there 20 minutes later my order was ready. Vetkoek was nice and fresh.

Yummy food. Friendly staff. Clean shop. Chicken surprise is a must! They have any of their fillings available on Rooster koek for those of you not wanting Vetkoek. They even have salads for those healthy eaters.

I rarely eat "fast food" but when compelled to do so, it's usually a freshly made roosterkoek at Vetkoek Maleis Zambezi, but don't dismiss the Vetkoek either! You will not find a crispier or fresher Vetkoek anywhere else! The fillings are always generous and very tasty! I always opt to go for the Chicken Mayo on a roosterkoek with a generous portion of lettuce, diced tomatoes and thinly sliced onion with a nice portion of creamy mayo chicken, spiced to perfection. When I feel like a "cheat" I definitely go for the chips with the famous Worcester sauce spice on. The speed with which our food was delivered was "fast" as in fast food. Deserving of 5 stars. But what truly made this experience special was catching the owner of the store on my visit there. A very pleasant lady - Monache, greeting each guest with a sincere "Hello, how are you?" she also inquired "how's your meal?" and "can I get you anything?". In her unique way, Monache was able to put a smile on each face and made each customer walk out with a bigger, brighter smile! Definitely a place to pop into when you need a quick bite with a dash of extremely friendly staff and exceptional Vetkoek! Take the time to pop in, you won't regret it!

Went to get vetkoek for supper ended up needing to cook supper at home. Vetkoek was oily, mince tasted like soya awfull my 6year old flatly refused to eat it saying it tastes bad. The chips were hard coated in some disgusting burny salt stuff that I was not asked if I wanted it on. I will never buy vetkoek from the Montana branch ever again, big waste of money.
