Amazing place to eat, cannot believe we hadn’t been here before! Some of the best service we have ever experienced at a price your wouldn’t necessarily expect good service let alone excellent service! Food was incredible, packed with soo much flavour and portion sizes are huge! Thank god for takeaway boxes! We will be back.Food: 5/5
This is one of the best Thai food restaurants in Kent. They go out of their way to help you understand the menu and cook what dietary requirements you require. As a vegan I can safely eat here knowing all the food has been prepared fresh and professional. The flavours are amazing and even my teenagers are impressed!!! We have been eating here for years and totally trust service and quality of food provided 5 stars. Vegetarian options: Anything can be created for vegan or vegetarian Kid-friendliness: Yes Parking: All around Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Dietary restrictions: They will bend over to make sure they can cater for your needs
The Thai Village Restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was exceptional, with every dish having its unique blend of flavors. The sweet corn fritters, Chicken Satay, and prawn dumplings were a hit, and the taste was simply amazing. Although the portion size for the starters was a little small, it didn't take away from the overall dining experience. We also tried their special fried rice, which was a perfect complement to other dishes. The service was also top-notch and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to visit again soon!
I think I have had the best Thai/Asian food of my life here. The menu is full of classic Thai dishes, from spicy curries to flavorful noodle dishes, and everything in between. The atmosphere at is cozy and inviting. The service is impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who are happy to offer recommendations and make sure you have a great dining experience. Additionally, the food is affordable and a bang for your buck! Thai Village is a true gem and a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious food and warm hospitality. Vegetarian options: Huge Menu with Vegetarian options!
Delicious yummy yum. I had the crispy duck. Delicious tasty nom nom we shared a starter of salt pepper squid then egg fried rice and stir fried pakchoi. He had a prawn curry can't remember the name Staff were friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was buzzing and fun. A truly enjoyable evening.
Absolutely incredible, first time of going to a Thai restaurant and the owner of the establishment greeted us at the door. He went through the whole menu and assisted us on what he thought would be best suitable with spices and tastes and gave us complimentary shrimp crackers which were incredible and full of taste. He also let us taste a few of their house made dips which were incredible! The service made me think I was in a luxury restaurant but at the same time at home. We contemplated coming into this restaurant at first but I assure you I’m coming here as often as I am in Westwood cross. Their curry’s and food is all home made and all food is fresh and the tastes are unbelievable, I haven't been to Thailand but I felt the personality of the food in every dish! Highly recommend as it’s also a local business and not a franchise, restaurants like this are so so so hard to come by now a days highly recommended.
nice restaurant, delicious food. P.s. they serve coconut rice!! very friendly staff, they even cooked one protion of coconut rice when the kitchen has just closed. Thank you for that. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! Wheelchair accessibility: should work
Lovely restaurant to visit. All staff were very friendly and helpful finding a place that was comfortable for me to sit at and somewhere safe for my walker to be put Staff explained the menu to us, where the food is sourced and that we could make changes add or remove any ingredients. Food was delicious. I had pork dumplings and the pineapple fried rice, which also have prawns, raisins and peppers and much more in it! Stunning variety of flavours. We'll definitely visit again. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible with my walker, I don't remember there being any steps in. Accessible toilet also available.
I love a Thai Green, so I thought my partner and I could have a cheeky one for lunch. They have a wide variety a foods all vegetarian with the option to add meat or fish, this is the same for the starters and the sides too. They also have a 2 for 15 on cocktails on all cocktails bar 2, the staff are welcoming, friendly and the service was top notch. They were cooking the mains whilst we were finishing our starters, all cooked fresh and all placed in their own dishes. You can either have your own or share as plates are given to you separately. 10/10 will definitely be coming back here. Edit: Came here for my Birthday 11/10/1991 and honestly the food was just excellent also the owner of Thai Village came with a tray of complimentary shots even one for herself!. The service here is soo good and again. 10 out of 10 would definitely come here again. Vegetarian options: Every meal is considered vegetarian, with the option to add meat or fish.
1st time visit and ordered a variety of starters. The fritters are insanely good. Very attentive service. Well presented and really tasty food. A little wait for the medley of starters to all finally arrive but was worth it. Onto mains and they remembered our request to not have one of the ingredients served on the plate. Well presented and tasted amazing too. Great size portions. A little too much for one of us but was able to box up our leftovers. Really enjoyed being able to eat traditional Thai food that tasted wonderful. Thanks Thai Village to your chefs and staff. Vegetarian options: All dishes had the option for the vegetarians Parking: Large free parking available at the Westwood Cross site Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and wide entrance doors
