W Watson Inc - Caredoc Medical Centre

Had an appointment, went in 10 minutes earlier and checked in. Almost 30 minutes passed and I queried why wasn't I called in as I noticed that people that came in after me were being seen first. Was then told that there are 2 patients before me. I was feeling very cold in the waiting room and told the receptionist that I would wait outside in my car and that she should call me when it's my turn. She called me about 15 minutes later to say that the person before me went to see the doctor so I went inside. Waited another 20 minutes only to be told that the doctors are in a meeting. The receptionists have no common courtesy to inform patients on why the wait is long. My partner came an hour and a half after my initial appointment time and had to speak to them and miraculously the doctor was available to see me. The doctor was amazing and told me that he called for me 3 times. I explained the whole situation to him and how I waited an hour and a half. Change your reception staff or you will continue to lose clients. This was unacceptable behavior. We come to the doctor because we are sick. We make an appointment because it's hard enough getting out of bed in our condition yet we still honor it. No remorse whatsoever. Very disappointed!

If you're wondering whether to make a booking, I think the just of this center is this: generally great doctors, some rude nursing and administrative staff, poor communication at times, and a well-equipped facility.

I took my 16 month old there on Monday 18th of May with an emergency, the staff infront as well as the nursing staff were all very helpfull and extremely friendly. Dr Michael thank you for taking such great care of my little girl, you are indeed a great doctor.

We had an emergency with our daughter on friday afternoon, some serious stitches required we took her straight to Caredoc, the staff there were amazing, Dr Baleta was amazing, keeping my daughter as well as us as parents calm. The were professional and compasionate. Thank you to the team at Caredoc Richards Bay

I went to visit Dr Watson and he’s humble and welcoming but the receptionists are very rudethe white ladies. I am not well even now and wants to see the Dr. but I am thinking twice of going there because I will tell them this time around should they become rude.

Dr Cloete was empathetic and very thorough. Nurse was great as well. It is impossible to get feedback though and the receptionists lack empathy. I will visit Caredoc again but will definitely voice my opinion in person to all responsible staff.

This is a good center now, for me its my personal care center. Just a phone calm away from an appointment and x-ray done in house. In house pharmacy seals the deal, as a first timer you pay a facility cash fee but once a regular, lifes a breeze. Its a good health 'shopping center'

Clean place, helpful people from reception to doctors,nurses and pharmacists. Always been helpful.

Terrible. Waiting for over an hour to see a doctor. Made an appointment and was early.Not recommended if you are feeling very sick. The wait is too long.
