I am very impressed with service received. Within 1 hour I renewed my license card and received my temporary license. Waited 6 weeks to collect my license card and collected it within 20 minutes of standing in the queue. Staff including outside security are friendly and helpful.

Dan and his staff, have me the best service of any traffic department in Gauteng. They were polite, helpful and very easy to work with.  Bes traffic department in 30 years.

As an Indian guy that finished his test early. I had to be the last person that waited for my learners certificate. Over 2 hours waited just because I was Indian. Also had to deal a white man who I should call an arrogant poes for being rude.

The service was amazing, I had a 8:40 license renewal appointment at 9:13 i had my temporary license in hand, quick and efficient service.

Been here since 8h30 to confirm and pay for Driver's License test. Now 11h38 and still waiting. Seems like some get preferential treatment. While waiting in DLTC's designated queue  people that are behind you in the queue will be assisted before you. "Our tax hard at work".

Albeit far from Pretoria,  this license center is efficient and their staff is friendly and helpful.. Cues are not the norm. Thanks to Mpho, Dan and the guy who worked this morning at collections,  as well as the rest...you are great.

Went today to having my driving license renewed after booking a timeslot on the Natis System. What a nice experience. Friendly and helpful staff that first greet you. Ok, it did take time as there was quite a few people but never the less good. You do have to wait in line for paying as well as the photos/eye test. However there is sufficient seating. The security is excellent as they control the people very well - no queue jumping or that sort of thing. Covid Protocol is also quite strict. A big thank you to staff and management for such service.

Two weekends in a row I've been given different closing times. 12:00, last intake at 11:45. Got here 11:15 and today they closed at 10...FFS... Get some consistency DA and enforce the times on the internet which are all wrong for the weekend

Will never ever come back to renew my license here. Wish I could give a 0 star rating. I went to renew my drivers license April 2021. I did not receive any sms/phone call to say it's ready. I decided July 2021 it should be ready by now and went to go fetch it, it was ready, but they misspelled my surname. I was shocked, due to all the forms I completed were correct, with no errors. They told me I must come back in 4 years or pay the fee again to correct my surname. I refused, as it's not my mistake. They made a copy and said they will issued me a new copy. Fast forward to February 2022, still no news. I decided let me try again and drive all the way. On my arrival to my further disappointment they never made me a new drivers license. They person there told me to go take photos again and they will issued me a new license. Then they proceeded to tell me to phone and ask for Toolboy about collecting. Today: all the phone lines are dead and cannot get through. Will I ever get my license that I paid for? Not sure, maybe in 4 years time at another licencing department.
