Walskipper Restaurant

We had an amazing lunch today! Everything was incredible, from the cold Coronas, to the gin on tap, and all the tasty food. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our waiter Brendan. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, having your toes in the sand, sound of the waves, and spectacular oceans views is unbeatable.

From seating areas indoors as well as outdoors, the sounds of waves and a gorgeous ocean view, is Die Walsipper unbeatable. Friendly staff with knowledge of the menu, and providing recommendations. Eat a delicious meal outside with your toes in the sand and have your children play safely close by. Sanitation is an important factor in the restaurant as each seat and table is wiped after the customers leave, even the bathrooms are wooden houses on the side of the building that are very clean. The food portions were generous with lovely presentations. We had calamari, hake, and chips. The calamari was perfectly fried, the hake was a large portion and the chips were deliciously crispy. We enjoyed the meal accompanied by cold beers and gin on tap. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food and quality customer service. Awesome, lovely place. Great and friendly Staff. Lovely atmosphere. Relaxing and welcoming. Perfectly situated in the beach with sea sand floor and barefooted waiters. Great experience - digging with Your toes into the sand. Really recommend it to anyone who wants great food and awesome restaurant!

We had the best lunch experience ever! Excellent location on the beach with a sandy 'floor'. Our waiter, Ferdie, was the friendliest and fastest ever! Only the great food topped his service. Do come early [11 o'clock opening time] for the full experience.

My husband and I visited die Walskipper while on honeymoon. We had a great time here and were really impressed by the food and service of the restaurant. While waiting for our food, we sat on the deck with the ocean view enjoying our wine. Our waiter, Ferdi, made sure our glasses stayed full and also offered to take pictures of us newlyweds. Besides great food, i really do appreciate good service or someone going the extra mile. Will definitely come again should we make another trip to Jbay!

Absolute perfect setting for a restaurant that sells seafood. Perfect atmosphere and the most friendliest staff. Our waitress Mariza ,I will definitely recommend her service. So if you looking for perfect service ask for Mariza. An absolute must try when you in and around Jeffrey's Bay it's definitely worth the trip.

Absolutely the best sea food we have had in our entire life! Such friendly waiters, so well experienced, helpful, knowledgeable and hospitable. Amazing friendly and kind atmosphere , kid friendly and the most incredible sea view! And by far the best chefs in the whole of Jay bay! Definitely worth the drive from Plett would do it again.Bring slops you will be eating with your toes in the sand

Incredible meal! Came 6 years ago, and came back this evening. The place has really been spruced up, and is a lovely environment. The food is exceptional platters are amazing. The staff is super friendly. We had a lovely waitress who was careful to explain all the specials and very attentive to our table. Best restaurant in JBay. Would come back in a heartbeat! Maybe even tomorrow!!

Stopped for a late lunch, what a marvellous place! Right on the edge of the sea, eating excellent food, with sand between my toes - what else can a person ask for? Oh yes! Brilliant service. Thank you Heinrich for making us feel so welcome and being so wonderful with my Dad. Highly recommended, go - you will not be disappointed.
