Wild Dogs Safari Lodge

It was my first trip to South Africa and we had a long journey to get to the lodge. We asked the hosts if it is possible to have a late check in around 11pm. It was no problem. Our stay was perfect, the lodge was beautiful and the exploring the surrounding was very exciting. The hosts were very helpful by making fire, giving needful informations to get to our second stopp at the Kruger Gate and our very early check out. We can highly recommend this beautiful place!

We stayed at Sable Cottage at Wild Dog Inn for a week - and I would love to go back right now! There is everything you need to make yourself comfortable and feel at home. Everything was super clean and tidy. The hosts are wonderful - give all kind of information. We did a half-day bike tour through the Wildlife Estate with the bikes of Wild Dog Inn. The bikes are really good and we had a lovely time on the estate. Being located on the greenbelt you can see quite some animals from your terrace like duiker, Impala, Warthogs and even a giraffe. The hornbills are curious and watch you having breakfast. Thanks for a great stay - we will be back!

Staying in the Sable Cottage. The accommodation is very well presented. Its clean and tidy. Very well decorated as well as homely. The host is very welcoming, friendly and accommodating! It is situated very well, being on the green strip with animals passing by, one feels as if they are out in nature. Would definitely recommend the Wild Dog Guest Lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Dog Inn. We were received by the friendliest of people who went out of their way to accommodate us. We went for a walk and saw so many wild life! Had a lovely weekend there. The place is beautiful and clean; quite a peaceful area, the hosts are friendly. We had a “bat situation” and the owner did not hesitate to come and help. Wouldn’t mind come back again!!Rooms: 4/5

Service was excellent. Rooms modern - equipped with Aircon, WiFi, DSTV, delicious breakfast. In the first hour we were there, we saw giraffe, zebra and loads of buck. To top it off during dinner, we had a porcupine join us for dessert fresh fruit and veg. Thanks Henro and Vicky.Rooms: 5/5

Its not often that the facilities exceed the photos posted on the internet. What a pleasant surprise. This is NOT a 2star hotel. This is a 5 star lodge on both the lodge and the owners. I will always stay here when visiting Hoedspruit.Rooms: 5/5
