This place is incredible and way better than the website indicates. We have never had such good service and amazing food anywhere in our lives. If we could give it 6 stars we would! Do yourself a favour and do not miss staying here if you are visiting Addo.Rooms: 5/5
We had the most wonderful time at Woodall! The entire staff is incredibly kind and attentive, with little handwritten notes in our room every day and hot chocolate prepped for us after we got home late after a game drive. Freddie helped us organize an amazing game drive in a nearby reserve. The room was super spacious, beautiful and cozy, with an amazing bathroom and outdoor shower. The food was outstanding and the grounds are beautiful to walk around and explore, or just sit down and listen to the birds or read a book from the library. Spa treatment was great too, so I can only wholeheartedly recommend staying here!
Such a fantastic place to visit and can't wait to do so again. The staff here are absolutely amazing and the amenities are great. Loved the personal touch including the handwritten notes. Thank you to Freddie and everyone else. Noteworthy details: The staff here are fantastic even little touches like cleaning our car before we were up or going the extra mile to just make everything perfect.

I had the pleasure of three nights here 19-21/01/2022 & it was a delight! From the minute l arrived to the minute l left l was treated like a king. Freddie is a little dynamite ball & the general manager Eduan is a delight. The dinner platters are a fabulous touch & top quality. Breakfasts are great. The rooms are beautiful & well & tastefully appointed & the gardens are to die for. Probably the best property l've stayed in in the Addo area. CONGRATS to the whole team! is a delight
Our favourite restaurant and lodge in the Addo area bar none. Quality is the byword at this awesome hospitality establishment located on a working citrus farm. Expensive? Yes. Reasonable value for money? Definitely. Various rooms and suites - no two are the same. Delicious fine dining. However not ideal for banting or low carb diets and very limited fish and vegetarian options.
From the very first conversation about our booking with Eduan to the last encounter as we walked to our car and found it being washed before we drove off, our stay was an absolute delight. The tasting dinner was easily one of the best meals we have ever had. Our room was stunning, personal handwritten welcome notes, soft live piano music while dining, tranquil perfectly manicured gardens to name but a few of the things you will experience in the gem. We will definitely be back and highly recommend a stay.

From the moment we pulled up to the gate, everyone was friendly, courteous and very accommodating. What an absolutely GORGEOUS place! The food was top notch, the service was second to none and all the attention paid to detail did not go unnoticed. From the personalized notes with the candies when you turned down the bed, to washing our car each day to Ruan serving us a scrumptious lunch at Addo Elephant Park. It all made our stay the most memorable of our 2 week stay in South Africa. All the flowers all over the grounds were stunning. Our room was unbelievably beautiful. Thank you for everything. We can't wait to come back!!
I made a booking and had to postpone then unfortunately cancel due to illness, throughout the process, the Woodall staff were very understanding and helpfull. I really hope we can make it to the beutiful estate on our next South African trip!
