The organisation aims to provide a direct response to the urgent, countless challenges faced by the South African youth like Unemployment rate, teenage pregnancy gangsterism, expensive tuition at tertiary institutions, etc.
Youth in our Societies, wrote Thompson et al (2004: xiii), “tend to be seen as a problem: either as sources of trouble or in trouble”.
The YOUTH WORLD Organisation acknowledging the fact that young people today are different from any other previous generations, is intent on ensuring that youth interventions are relevant and valid for the current young generations in our societies and not mired in the certainties of the past times. The organisation aims to provide a direct response to the urgent, countless challenges faced by the South African youth like Unemployment rate, teenage pregnancy gangsterism, expensive tuition at tertiary institutions, etc.
It attempts to achieve all that by establishing youth forums, projects and platforms to give the young people an opportunity to voice their concerns, make suggestions on how to take the country forward and make sure that the government implements those resolutions.
