Beautiful and unique space, which is ideal for dates. The food was good, but a bit expensive. The Beef Wellington is the best I've had in the city. Only the Valentine's menu was available when we went, which cost $200 per person and consists of 4 courses. All of the food was good, but not good enough for the price tag in my opinion. The normal Prix Fixe and Tasting Menus are more affordable. Our service was good, and the servers were attentive, but the timing between each course was quite slow. Our server did recognize and apologize for this.
This is very sophisticated high end place with the history that goes back to 18th century. Perfect for romantic dinner or date night. To be honest I was there for dinner more than 10 years ago, but I visited them recently because they start to have jazz brunch. You have to book it in advance and you will be submerged into atmosphere of 30-40s of the last century. It was very pleasant and romantic the band the singer it was just amazing! As for the food please keep in mind that for the brunch you will have only prefix menu option without ability to choose or order something else. Oh! And jazz invitation includes one free drink.
Very nice place. Caught my eye as I was walking by. Great ambience and atmosphere. Came here to hang out in the bar near the piano man for an intimate experience. Bartender made our drinks amazing. Loved my espresso martini. Piano man plays great music that's a great background for drinks and a great meal. Intimate restaurant. Very nice mood. Highly recommend for a good time whether your here for drinks, a meal, or both.
Our experience was top notch in every regard. The setting and ambiance are very romantic and rustic, and each course was perfectly executed. The cuisine was traditional. The Beef Wellington was the standout; sublime! Perfect place for a date with the one you love.Dine in: Yes
Went here with my cousin yo celebrate her retirement. It's definitely more a couples restaurant as the setting is very romantic. Downstairs seemed more for all parties but we unfortunately were not able to sit there. Our waiter Jorge was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and gave great suggestions. The rest of the staff was also very friendly. I had the beef wellington which was delicious. I'll be honest, I'm into the whole ghost phenomenon and was intrigued by the history of this restaurant. Apparently the staff has experienced many ghostly happenings. None for us, just a great meal with an incredible staff. Thank you!
Had an absolutely lovely evening celebrating an anniversary here. The live piano player is an elegant touch. The food was sensational, the service impeccable thank you Tai, and the ambience cozy and romantic. It was a night out to remember for sure.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
The atmosphere is beautiful with candle lights and live piano. Service is also good, although a little overattentive at times they tried to take away our plates before we had finished a few times. We got the 7 courses menu $160. The food is generally good, but only some things are exceptional. I really liked the tuna sashimi and the single scallop. The fish and beef were good but nothing spectacular. What really disappointed is the cheese platter that reminds me of the box you get at the airport when your flight is delayed see picture. Overall, it was enjoyable but I probably won't go back.
What a beautiful restaurant. They had a piano player when I dined here which really added to the experience. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with what to order. Try and get a table on the ground level or you will not be able to see much if you are upstairs. Food was excellent, great beef Wellington
I was taken there to celebrate my birthday. I was so excited to try this restaurant out but from the moment we were seated I was uncomfortable. We were seated in a “back room”, in a small table for two, in between other occupied tables. I spent the evening leaving to the left , to the right, push in my chair. All because we were seated in a very tight space that forced the server to squeezed by each time they had to attend to our table and the other two on each side. We’re so athletic men with broad shoulders. The presentation of the food was beautiful, however very bland! I’m went right for the Beef Wellington and it tasted like a beef patty and bun from McDonald’s … No ketchup. Lol I rush though my meal just to get out of there, all while trying to be grateful for the night out. Honestly the only thing that made the evening was the wonderful service named Orchid. She knew we weren’t please but tried her best to make it right. Thank you!
Fine dining at its finest. If you are looking for more romance and love to eat, bring your beloved here. It’s dry private and the building looks almost as if it’s not a a restaurant. The interior is decorated well with dark woods and dark leathers. We were the first to arrive for a 5:30 pm dinner. The hostess was very kind and had great banter. The servers were steady and very responsive. We chose the 7-course meal. Small portions with big flavors. Each dish was creatively plated.
