1824 House Events & Accomodations

We were there in January with a foot and a half of snow. A friend rented it for the weekend and a large group of us stayed. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. There were trails for nordic skiing and snow shoeing immediately out the door. The scenery is lovely; walk or ski along the Mad River. We had the place to ourselves, warm and cozy; slept well in very good beds. We made our own meals in a semi-pro, small kitchen, but the interim inn keepers made us a nice breakfast on Sunday. We had one toddler and three well-behaved dogs. Everyone had a great time. We would do it again.

Attended a wedding at the venue. The event including a cocktail hour a d the reception dinner.

An absolutely gorgeous place and it was very sad that all its potential was completely over ridden with the terrible help/ridiculousness of the owners and innkeepers. Easily could have been a lot smoother for my sisters big day. Sad.

Absolutely beautiful setting and wonderful accommodations and breakfast. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night!

So Beautiful, food was simple yet top notch, staff were great, Both in bad to say at all.
