The management & staff were very rude I’ll never go back to this one. They treated me & 2 others like complete children. Unfortunately I’ve been going here to this one for almost 10 years. I brought a friend who had previously been a member & was in town for 2 days & wanted to work out. They simply weren’t working with us to get him in the gym. The master trainer sees me everyday in there never said a word for 5 plus years. This is by far the worst crew of personal trainers & employees I’ve seen & interacted with at a 24 hour.
I have been going to this gym for about 3 years now and I absolutely love it. Not too big and not too small. It has exactly what I am looking for and I get great workouts there when I go. I do about every day. The staff there is awesome. You can put some of your own personal music on and jam away while your working out and no one bothers you. The same with the at least mens locker room, no one bugs you at all. Some times when you go, it does get busy and some times you have to wait to use a machine but that's only during peak times. Most of the time you have no issue at all. I will be coming to this gym for a long time to come. I love this gym.
I've been using this gym for 1.5 years. Good staff and clientele is generally respectful not too many equipment hogs or jerks. It is a smaller location I think it used to be a foot locker back in the day, but it is what it is. It's got all the equipment you need / expect for $29 bucks a month. Never really gets too busy to use, which is nice. My main criticism, which is true for all 24 hour fitness locations, is that the locker room isn't clean enough for me to feel comfortable working out in the morning and then showering / shaving and getting ready for work.
I have been working out with Drew since January and not only have I been losing weight but I have learned so much. Drew, the fitness manager, is the most amazing partner I could've asked for on this journey to changing my life! He's supportive, fun, and he believes in me. This gym is like a second home to me and everyone is so kind and supportive; I love checking in at the front and seeing Art's friendly face everyday! I would highly recommend this location if you're looking for a place to get in shape and feel comfortable doing so. I CAN'T WAIT to hit my goal weight, and with Drew by my side I will get there in no time! :
Friendly staff that typically says hi/bye to you. The gym is large enough for the area it serves and well appointed with quality equipment. The locker room areas could be refreshed and don't feel extremely clean. Good value for the money.
I'm surprised to see this get such a high rating. I've been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for years and have been to half a dozen of their gyms. I've wanted to like this gym and have given it several chances over the years including in the past 2 months, but the equipment and free weights are lacking. There aren't many options for leg machines, and those that are there have poor padding. Regarding the free weights, I like having increments of 2.5 lbs up to 35lbs and this gym only has increments of 5 lbs. This is being picky, but the gym they just closed off of Belleview had much better equipment and a variety of machines and free weights.
This is a smaller version of 24 hr Fitness. All the usual machines and all seem in order. Free weight area. Class area. Lockers and showers. Lots of supplements for sale. Not crowded at 6:30am on a week day. No pool or saunas, no basketball court. Seemed clean.
Only have good things to say about this 24 Hour location. The staff are the friendliest of all the Denver 24 Hour Fitness gyms, and I think the space is utilized as best as it can be for it being such a small gym. The trainers have never been rude or offensive, and from another comment I've read about them, I'm pretty sure those who wish to be offended will find something to offend them. I'm also not a very passive or sensitive guy, so when I see a trainer taking up 2 or 3 machines or sets of barbells at the same time which I have, I pretty much tell them that I'm stepping in for my set. LOL They've always been accommodating here. The men's locker room is usually pretty clean, and frankly YOU are the idiot if you use a locker without a LOCK at any gym, anywhere. The only thing about this gym I could see improving would be more air circulation. It gets stuffy in that big box occasionally, especially in the cold of winter or the dead heat of summer.
24 hour is over priced and not maintained. I workout at VASA fitness and I recently moved so I began to look at 24 hour since VASA is kind of far it is new and still expanding.24 hour is over a 100 dollars to pay for the first day and if you dont choose the 12 commitment membership, rip. Im literally going out of my way to write this review for anyone who's looking at 24 hour fitness. Dont go there. I use to work out at 24 hour for almost my entire high school years, and compared to VASA, It is complete garbage. I've workout at the super sport in parker, the one on exposition and Quincy. None of them being as maintained like VASA. VASA is literally 20 dollars a month with a 10 dollar initiation fee for access to everything and all locations even though there is only two. They constantly replace old weights and add new machines to adapt with its community. The only downsides I've seen with VASA is that they close i think at 12, and there are only 2 locations so far. But screw 24 hour, its worth the drive.
This place is great and never too jam-packed for weight-training. always friendly staff. People giving bad reviews to this gym seem to have unreasonable expectations for a very well-priced experience
