412 O'Keefe garage

We used this garage for our four night stay and never had a problem. Considering the open lot across from our hotel wanted $50 for 24 hours, $30 a day was reasonable for a covered and safe place to park. They had a $40 in and out pass, but parking in the Quarter is crazy and Uber is cheap enough to get from one side to the other. I would recommend it.

Kept fairly clean. Early bird special parking rate is nice. Occasionally there are bums sleeping in stairwell. Drug paraphernalia in the corners.

Safe place to park your vehicle. A little pricier than some if you want to go in and out but if you are leaving it there during your stay and walking or taking public transit like most everyone else in NOLA, it's $20/night. Will use again if we stay at the Catahoula like we did this time.

Our car was safe when we parked there. $20 per day is their rate, which is cheaper than the hotel we stayed at

I have been parking at this the 412 O'Keefe Garage for a number of years during Mardi Gras. However, when I picked my car up this year 2023, the front headlight lens covers had been stolen and my headlamps absolutely trashed. There was also paint damage to the front end of my car where pry bars had been used to steal the lens covers. I had to end up springing for an additional hotel night on the road because the car couldn't be driven after dark. Outrageous considering the $240 in parking fees that I paid the garage. They simply are doing enought to protect their customers! i will never park there again! Don't make the same mistake that I did!

Parking garage is very nice, but it is not clearly marked and visible that it is 412. For people that are traveling from out of town it would be nice if they made the address more visible. I traveled from out of town, and had a company pay for my parking there, and GPS took me to the next block. Then I realized I had passed it after rolling down my window to ask someone where it was. I then had to make a block, turn around, and then go back to it. Overall it is a nice garage, but could afford to be marked better with the address is all.

Parked there last night and had to be at race early next morning. Was unable to get out. None of the exit pay stations or card reader would work. No attendants available. Called number for assistance, got answering machine but could not leave message due to box being full. So great place to park if you don't need your car.

Charged an additional $5 when exiting the garage after already paying the $20 overnight fee at the pay station which the instructions say to do. Don't pay at the pay station, you'll get charged extra. When I called and asked about it they said if you take more than 10 minutes to get to your car and exit, you get charged an extra $5. The machine at the exit did not give me a receipt, aka I'm out $5.

This was a stress free parking experience. I reserved parking beforehand but due to a small error on my part wasn’t able to redeem it at first. The staff on hand came to my help right away and we’re extremely helpful and kind in assisting me. It surpassed my expectations and inspired me to write this review. Would recommend parking here overnight.

Best garage to park in. The attendant was very friendly and prices right. Yes it's a walk to the Quarter but just explore and know you won't be towed, have a boot on your car or charged a massive price.
