777 6th Avenue Apartments

We have lived here for almost 3 years now. The units are so nice and well maintained. The views are stunning- with huge floor to ceiling windows you can see the sunrise, sunset, and catch the nightly changing colors of the Empire State Building. However what is most notable about 777, is the staff. They are the reason we stay year after year despite rent prices being insane. We feel safe here which is really important with a baby. The team here is personable, caring, and feel like family. We know everyone’s names and they know ours. Maintenance issues are always resolved quickly. They really hire quality people. Special shout out to Juan at the front desk who goes above and beyond handling *hundreds* of heavy packages each day all while maintaining a personal relationship with each tenant. He is outstanding!

Love Juan, best doorman out there. And Luis! They are great! Wonderful location and was a great apartment to us for a year. Also Felix the General service director made moving out a breeze! We are sad to go.

We had such a hard time finding an apartment from out of state. Not only were my boyfriend and I from out of state moving to NYC or our jobs, but we have a Golden Retriever. 777 was so welcoming and is dog friendly no weight restriction! It's a short walk to Madison Square park that has a massive dog run and our dog loves it. We also absolutely love living here and it's so convenient to anything you need Target, Home Depot, TJ Maxx/Marshalls, Traders Joes/lots of other grocery stores, and easy kind of restaurant or street food you could imagine! The building has great amenities gym, laundry, dry cleaning, alterations, terrace, top deck, work/media room. Not only does the building have great amenities, but the people that work here are very kind. Zeika and Juan made our move in so east. Juan is always so nice and greets you at the front door everyday! They provided carts to help us move in all our boxes and large packages. Zeika helped us sign our lease and get us a virtual tour because we were out of state. All and all this is amazing place to call home - especially for your pups!

By far the best place I’ve lived in NYC! The location is perfect, residents are all nice interesting people, and best of all is Juan!! While all the staff were great, Juan made a night-and-day difference in my experience. Whether it was helping me get large packages get picked up by USPS during lobby construction, understanding how the metered street parking works outside the building, getting repairs/work done on the unit, or just having a nice chat every now and then - Juan goes 300% out of his way to make sure the experience is the best you’ll have.

The experience so far has been just ok. We moved in a few days ago and while signing the lease, I saw that the rent went up by $60/month from what I saw online initially. I found a $60 per month amenity fees total for 2 residents all other fees and rent was total too and not per resident so it was fair to assume $60 total per apartment per mont. I called the sales office if we could get this removed since we won't be using the gym and amenities we both have equinox memberships. They said no, it is "mandatory" but double confirmed it is $60/apartment. We begrudgingly decided to go ahead and while paying the deposit, I noticed it had gone up to $120/month. At this point, the leasing agent Zoe told us this is standard per resident and they will not change it. She said the number I called was not the leasing office and therefore it will not change and asked us if we want to go ahead or not. Just feel pretty tricked to be paying an extra $1440 in rent this year than what was on the initial website page before we decided to sign. Especially since do not plan to use any of the amenities. Also, a "mandatory amenity fees" is not fees, it is just more rent. It should either be optional or be included in the displayed rent. The move in has been smooth though and the doormen are very nice.

I lived in 777 6th Avenue for a month and half during my relocation to NYC till I found a permanent place to live in. Couldn’t imagine a better place to start my NYC life! Leaving this place has been very hard considering the location, building amenities, apartment quality, community and most importantly the staff! Juan, especially, made my stay so welcoming and homey. He takes time to get to know you even though there are many people in the apartment, always very helpful. Knowing that I was leaving, he always kept my packages ready so I wouldn’t miss them before my departure. He is one of the reasons this building so welcoming and great! Can’t wait to stop by to say hi to him time to time : The location is great, despite it’s a busy area, it is close by to everything. Subway is only minutes away. The building is always clean and well taken care of, amenities are superb. Would love to come back here in the future when the NYC housing prices are back to normal!

Had the pleasure of working with Zoe during our application and move in process and she was super helpful. Made the whole thing super streamlined and easy. So far loving the apartment, it’s staff and all the amenities.

I've lived at 777 6th Ave for 4 years and absolutely love it. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for a doorman building in Chelsea. The management team and concierge are always super friendly and quick to respond. The dry cleaning service in the lobby is incredibly convenient, the views of NYC are great and the fitness center has everything you could need. Would definitely recommend!

I lived at 777 for a year and it was my first NYC apartment. It was an awesome place to live and has a very central location, nice building, and excellent staff. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful and is one of the best parts about living at 777 6th ave. One of my first interactions was Pedro helping me with my move in, which was SO nice. Followed by the excellent doormen, and finally upon leaving Sanel helped me on his day off. 10/10

I recently moved to this building for my first experience living in NYC from London. I must have seen over 15 buildings in the vicinity, but there was something that drew me to settle on this one - the energy felt so welcoming. I have now been here for one month and am so happy I went with my instinct. Not only is my apartment great, with so much light and space; the facilities are also excellent. The biggest highlight however are the people who relentlessly go above and beyond to make the building feel like a home - Zoe, Steve, Juan and George always make such an effort to make sure every single one of the residents here are happy. This level of care is not something that i had expected and I feel extremely lucky to have found it. Could not recommend the building more.
