A Bar A Ranch

Like heaven on earth. No cell phone, no internet, just miles of private gold water North Platte to fish, horses, fine dining, and southern hospitality. I can't think of any other place I would like to spend our family vacation at. This is a bucket list place for sure.

If you're looking for a quiet vacation alternative, a ranch is the way to go. A Bar A Ranch is beautiful, quiet, and secluded without being boring – you can go horseback riding, hiking, fishing, tubing, swimming, etc. The ranch is incredibly well staffed (depending on the week there are almost as many staff members as there are guests), and they are all attentive and personable. Don't expect much to do outside the ranch though; it's multiple hours away to the nearest town worth visiting.
