I don’t know why everyone else in the reviews is so miserable. The girl working the morning desk for the testing center the week of 2/11 was so sweet and super friendly. Everything was pretty straightforward there which I like. The only problem I had was with her boss because he was telling me to smile, which, considering the fact we’re in 2024, and having to deal with dumb stuff like that by men in authority is really unnecessary
Due to staffing there will be a 10 to 15 min wait or longer before you’re allowed to test regardless of the time you arrive. Overall the staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Try to avoid being too much as purses, backpacks, etc will not be allowed in. They do provide lockers for free but there’s no availability guaranteed as it gets crowded quickly.
Today, at the Pearson VUE testing center, as a US Army veteran with an education, I encountered an employee named Maria who displayed a disrespectful attitude towards me. Just before entering the testing room, she accused me of having gum in my mouth despite my repeated denials. Even after I opened my mouth wide to prove otherwise, she persisted in her accusation, insinuating that I was lying. When I emphasized my honesty and seriousness, she rudely remarked, "you do not look like a serious person." Making such comments on my appearance was inappropriate and unprofessional, particularly given my background and demeanor. This encounter left me feeling upset and unsettled right before an important exam.
The attitudes of the people running the place were atrocious. For an open book and open note test, they tried to prevent me from taking my notes. I constantly got the feeling that I was an inconvenience just for being present. This is one of the hardest tests I've taken, and having to argue with a proctor on the rules they dint know but want to enforce did not help my mentality. I have taken at least 3 tests at this location. This will be the last. I will travel across town to avoid dealing with the abhorrent experience I received this time.
Took an exam there recently. Great setting, relatively new tech equipment, and very professional staff. Check-in took about 5 minutes and then straight to the exam. The exam room was pretty packed but very quiet and orderly. BCY also provided ear plugs and personal lockers at no additional charge. The testing center is located in suite 150 of One University Place ground floor so if you arrive from the front parking lot you will have to take the stair or elevator down one flight.
had a pleasant experience here. First time taking a very important exam in years and I was so relax. Didn't have to wear my ear covers because it was nice and quiet. Proctor sanitized test area before you enter. Instructions were very clear. Thank you for a nice experience towards my new career.
Professional and polite staff with timely service. I came for an I9 identity confirmation for a remote employer. There was one location closer to my home but it had bad reviews- glad I chose BCY instead!
The receptionist was nice. That is the only good thing that I can say about my experience. The testing cubicles were small and cramped. I didn’t feel comfortable due to the possibility of Covid exposure. There was a-lot of noise in the room beside us. I could hear loud laughing and talking the entire time even with ear muffs on. I was given a dry erase pad to write on but the marker didn’t even work. I did the best that I could do since the test was timed. Lastly, there was someone in one of the rooms that was persistently coughing the entire time. We were told to reschedule if we had a cough or other signs of Covid yet this person was there. I’m not sure if it was an employee or customer but I, along with others, was very uncomfortable. By the grace of God, I passed my test. I really feel that the ones who don’t pass should receive a full refund.
Hi All, Today I went there to give my exam. The staffs are very friendly, helpful, true professional and they ensure we complete the exams on time. They dont give a chance to waste the time on documentation and procedures. The testing area was large, quite and comfortable, they had good lockers for my items as well. I really cant believe how few folks have given bad reviews. I will surely recommend this place for everyone.
Do they have another number because I’ve been calling for the past 3 days and nobody is awnsering and I’m trying to take my test as soon as possible.
