I love this shop both for its selection of new titles, as well as the extensive collection of antique books- don’t forget to take a left just past the register to find the other section of the store. The displays by the entrance have lots of great recommendations from various book clubs, and there is also a section of employee recommendations. On my most recent visit I picked up a signed copy of Godfall by Van Jensen, among a few other good finds from the antiques section. The older books are very well organized by topic so I was able to find several good titles that pertain to my major in college. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Once visited in 2020 and didn’t realize the shop was closed except for pickup orders- luckily the man running the store was kind enough to take my preferences at the door, and offered me a few titles I would like and I was able to have a book to read that night because his recommendations were spot on. I used to visit infrequently when I lived in the perimeter, but now this shop is very close to me so I’ll be dropping in more often. Parking can be a little tricky but just make sure you’re brushed up on your parallel parking skills.
A lovely find! This is a charming locally owned bookstore that has an extensive program sponsoring authors and book signings at various venues in the city. You can order books online, and depending on your zipcode, they offer delivery to nearby neighborhoods. If you need to pick up, on the weekends, the business across the street allows parking. Otherwise, street parking is it. The staff are super nice. I noticed they have a section of used books for sale as well. I will browse there on my next visit.
Great new and used bookstore. There is street parking but no lot. You walk into the new bookstore section and then take a left turn to the used section. Included in the used book section are rare collector books priced at reusable prices. The used books have a price penciled on the first page. It felt good to hold a book and page through it, especially a book with lots of pictures.
Great book shop! Sold all my already read books and received very reasonable credit value towards new book purchases through them.
It's a very nice bookstore. Well organized. I felt their used book prices were a little high, but that did not stop me from purchasing. Parking is a bit of an issue. Staff was welcoming.
I absolutely adore this bookstore. A Cappella has an incredible used book collection, while also keeping a nicely curated new book collection. I found two books I have been looking for forever at reasonable prices, and one was even stuck behind a bookshelf. They found it anyway!! Emmy was sweet and super helpful. I look forward to coming back soon!
A nice small neighborhood bookstore. New, used, and collectible books for sale. My only real complaint concerns the lack of books for young readers. Otherwise, it is a great little walk-up bookstore on the edge of Inman Park.
Great bookstore, highly recommend stopping by if you are a book collector, great rare books section. I’ve been in person twice and I’ve ordered multiple books online associated with their numerous signing events. Staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful with any questions. Recommend signing up for their mailing list to stay up to date on events.
I love A Cappella. Not only is it my favorite Atlanta bookstore, but they always host interesting events. If you’ve never been to one, check out their events page.
Cute little book shop with many wonderful titles like the book of O.E. Butler's last interview, and here I had believed that I had read everything by the phenomenal author and the Patternmaster more than twice! Even though this shop is a bit far off for me, I plan to be back..
