Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

One of a kind Mexican restaurant. Sort of what PF Chang is to Chinese cuisine. Really good food. Salsa - they serve 3 types; Green (pineapple?) is off the charts delicious. Fair price, good service and pleasing family friendly ambiance.

The wife loves this place. They have a large assortment of food and the dip sampler pleases everyone at the table. Not as cheap as the typical Mexican restaurant, but overall prices are what you would expect at a standard chain type restaurant. The food is very tasty and staff is courteous. Been here quite a few times and the wait has never been super long.

You will not be disappointed. The best Mexican, ever. Our servers are always amazing. Manager went out of his way to recreate a dinner from the previous menu. It was delicious. We drive from Atlanta to dine at Abuelo's.

Abuelo's is a great place to enjoy a great meal. The servers are friendly and very knowledgeable. The manager Mac is also extremely helpful. If you have haven't tried the Australian bass I highly recommend it.

I ordered Carnitas, Mexican style tacos w pork. The order came with two soft tacos (choice of four, or corn), Mexican style rice and beans. There wasn't much flavor in the meat at all, although each taco had a slice of avocado, which I thought was a nice touch. I've had more authentic Mexican food, that is bursting with flavor, for a lot less money. Sometimes people are fooled by thinking just because something costs more, that means higher quality. Not the case here. This was my first experience eating here, and quite frankly, my last.
