Golden Garden Chinese Restaurant

I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Knoxville for a very long time. I am very pleased I found Golden Garden! I was very skeptical at first when I first drove up, but when I walked in was very surprised with how nice and clean it was. The general tso’s chicken I ordered was honestly the best I ever had and the server actually refilled my coke 5 times which is up there with some of the best food and service I’ve ever had! Most items on the menu are $8.20 and the portions are very decent. I strongly recommend checking it out for yourself!

When I pulled up, the restaurant looked a little questionable from the outside, but I was soon proven wrong! The inside is actually quite nice and clean. My food was pretty good and my boyfriend got General Tsos that was phenomenal! They also have pretty reasonable prices, I think dinner is mostly around 8.20. Very impressed with this place and will be back.

Great food, great prices. Portions are large, i always bring home enough for next day's lunch. Great left over too.

Update: Attitude seems improved. Maybe they had talk? We love this small Chinese restaurant. The food is great. Best in Knoxville. Too bad one waiter is bringing it down. If he doesn't like you, prepare for bad service. The owner does not know. Maybe they will see this and correct the problem. Meanwhile we will have to go somewhere else. Sorry. We will miss the food.

Been looking for a great Chinese restaurant for the 3 years we’ve been in TN. Found it in Golden Garden. Food was delicious! Hot & sour soup was superb. Well done. We will be back! 😊👌🏻
