North China Chinese Restaurant

It is sooooo good!! When I came everyone was still nice considering they hadn't received many customers. The waiters were constantly asking if we needed anything. Their food is clean and simple which I admire. It didn't leave a greasy feeling in my mouth and seemed quite healthy. I can see why they have been serving Gatlinburg for so long! I think they deserve more customers and after a renovation I think their restaurant will receive hundreds of costumers!!

It tasted like booty, the Chinese food was very rubbery and the meat smelled like rat. It was horrible and smelled bad. I couldn't finish half a plate based off of the disgust of the food. This place was quick but I bet they microwave their booty food. Food was culo so I'm never eating here again. Don't bother coming because it's rubbery and smells bad. Food sucked and never eating this ever again.

Quite little place off the main path. Very nice little get away from the main strip during a busy day. Their fried rice was very very good! I would definitely eat there again.

Stay away! My experience was much of the same: The food was dry, chewy and flavorless, almost as if it was thawed and microwaved to the death. Fried rice was just soy sauce colored white rice, and the pork in the low mein was so rubbery it was inedible. No idea how they stay in business... Because there is no way they would ever have any repeat business.

The food here is "meh", but I like supporting small businesses. I've been going to the smokies since a child, so it is one of my favorite places to go. After a long hike, I would go into town and grab some chinese food from here whenever I was in the smokies. The food here is far from authentic, it reminds me of 1980s chinese food. However I won't be returning, the food was mediocre as usual, but when we got our checks and there was a split check charge for TWO PEOPLE, I thought that was silly. I am going to find a new small business to support when looking for a place to eat.
