China King Buffet

China king is a biweekly occurrence for our family and it had always been a pleasant enough experience, but recently there is a server who once you’ve sat down with your first plate she interrupts your conversation and demands that you pay her. I have always paid my bill up front. The first time this happened I ignored it, we were in a rush anyway. However tonight we had been in the restaurant maybe 15 minutes and we’re each still obviously working on our food when she comes up and rudely interrupts our discussion and demands that we pay her. I thanked her for the bill and she walked away and we went on with our meal. Not even 5 minutes later, I was finished eating but my husband and 4 year old were still eating, she comes back and asks us if the food was good and why we “no pay” and demanding that we pay her. By this point I was irritated. This had happened more than once and it’s rude. I told her we were obviously still eating and we will pay when we are done. She then apologized. She came back 3 or 4 times giving my child candy and asking if he wanted soda without asking me each time, as I was trying to get him to eat his dinner so we could get the hell out of there. When we did go pay our bill, up front as always, she raced up there as the other server rang us up and asked about her tip. Now, I have been a server, I have never in my life not tipped, but her behavior was unacceptable. The restaurant was not full and we hadn’t even finished a plate of food when she started in on us. We will not be back.

Love this place, go there all the time. Well worth the money. And don't forget about the hibachi grill.

Food was good. Spinach puff pastry was best I ever ate. Service was great.

Good food. A little confusing though between lunch & supper as to what food you can eat @ 4:00pm without incurring a higher price.

Great food. Good price. Everything was fresh and delicious. My son enjoyed the pizza, garlic bread, and egg drop soup. He also enjoyed the dessert selection and ice cream. The only drawbacks I would mention is having to ask for water refilled.
