AC Hotel Portland Downtown

This hotel and more importantly, the staff, get IT! They make each guest feel incredibly special. Our experience was superb. Our first ten seconds in the hotel, we were greeted by Cameron, so kind, so interesting and so efficient! The hotel room was gorgeous and clean with beautiful views and easy parking we did the Park and Stay. We were met immediately at drop off and the next day, our car was waiting for us on the circle as we prepared to depart. The bar in the hotel is wonderful - and a great place to start or end your night! Bartenders are also fabulous! We were in town to celebrate a monumental event of my wife's and went to a very special dinner with several couples some of whom also stayed at the AC Hotel Portland. We were shocked and thrilled to learn that the hotel has a shuttle you are thinking van, this is a mercedes SUV that is complimentary! I have stayed in 5 star hotels and not been treated better than this staff approaches their clients. The rooms are immaculate and Seamus the GM went above and beyond to ensure the celebration was absolutely perfect for my wife and our friends. We will ALWAYS stay here. Not because of the special treatment but because it was so clean and the staff is amazing, it is easy and located in the heart of the Old Port. Our friends also truly enjoyed their stay. A million thanks for one of the best experiences in a hotel EVER. Book the AC Hotel Portland, you will have absolutely NO regrets.

A beautiful, professional, and well kept hotel. I can assure you rooms are cleaned and sanitized to satisfaction. Employees are kind and knowledgeable, each one bringing their own personality to the establishment. The rooms are spacious and cozy and the price is always worth the comfort.Rooms: 5/5

This clean, comfortable and well maintained property features a prime waterfront location. The service was fine including a very helpful valet. This is a fun location for tourists and business travelers alike. The breakfast was light on options but still very tasty. But the big plus is you can stumble out the back door and check out Portland's waterfront. The waterfront is not super engaging as a tourist destination, but we found an amazing restaurant nearby that made the whole experience special. We will return.

The room is very nice and comfortable, staffs are polite. Overall experience 3 stars, the hotel does not have parking, and they charge $49 for valet parking, the area is very unsafe, lots of homeless around. I parked my car in the parking lot in the opposite parking garage, I found my car with 3 broken glass windows and everything got stolen the next day morning. About the service, I requested a comb and a shower cap on the app, there was a staff who did not wear uniform or name tag shows up in front of my room and handed the shower cap without speaking any English, but that’s not the case, the case is the missing comb and I have to call the front desk multiple times and was told they are running out of comb. Bad communication!

I stayed at the AC Hotel for six nights and loved it. The hotel is clean and convenient. I didn't utilize the restaurant or bar, but that space looked great as well. It was easy to find street parking, so I did not use valet. I'll stay there in the future when work takes me back to Portland.Rooms: 5/5

My friend recommended this hotel to me and I'm so glad I listened to her! Super conveniently located within walking distance to so many attractions in Portland. The hotel is also very modern and very sleek. They offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport which is a really nice touch. Special thank you to Kyle Ryan? for my round trip rides! Front desk staff were super accommodating, efficient and friendly. Wanted to give a special shout out to Neese, Cameron, Damaris and Jose. Also shout outs to Steven in the breakfast area and Angel who recommended a fabulous restaurant in the area. Loved the hydration station on my floor, conveniently located right outside my room! Would definitely recommend if you're planning a trip to Portland.

Room temp isn't allowed below 66° and the room was sweltering! Also when we arrived we were told no hold fee on the card yet they hold $50 per night you'll be staying with them so God help you if you're here 2 weeks! The beds are comfortable and the valet are very helpful but the rooms are small. Not recommended to stay with children

The room is small and leaves something to be desired in terms of both design and privacy. The "bathroom" door is a sliding glass door with a design that means it 1 doesn't close all the way, and 2 you can see whoever is in there doing their business because there are see-through cutouts in the design. The bed was uncomfortable. The lighting was difficult to figure out, as switches weren't necessarily placed where the light should turn on. We never did figure out how to turn on the light in the hallway area. The flooring in our room was in need of replacement as it was warped in places. However, the service was great and the location is excellent. There is easy access to public transit and a smartpark garage across the street.

Nice hotel, fairly modern but comfortable. Only thing that would have made my stay more enjoyable would be free, fresh coffee. They do have a coffee shop that made me a wonderful americano. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, TV worked well, etc. will plan on staying with this chain again.

Our room was well furnished, clean, and all of the amenities are impressive! All of the staff were so friendly, but Alarik went above and beyond each day we were there!! Alarik was quick to help, and always very happy to do so! Could not recommend this hotel more!Rooms: 5/5
