Great local place. Staff are very tied in to their community which is great to see. I definitely appreciate walking in here and getting the help I need. Selection seems good; I've never needed to go elsewhere to find what I needed.
Parking is difficult for crew cab trucks. Folks willing to help. Fair selection. Clean and organized. I will continue to shop here.
Extremely helpful and attentive staff! The store is smaller and the aisles are narrow but they are doing there best
Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. The puppy working there is a sweet angel and should get a raise. It's a small store but it carries a decent amount of everything and even has a paint center!
aside from the well-stocked store, relaxed environment, and helpful employees, it was really nice to walk in this morning and the first five employees well-staffed store! I see are women! as a young woman it's easy for me to feel out of place or not taken seriously at a hardware store, so I really appreciate the representation in your staff. :
Ace IS the place... to go whenever I need or want hardware for that project. The team here are all so helpful and friendly.
Dan and his wife are vary cool and help full and all of there staff are cool to when i need things and i have a hard time explaning what iam looking for they are allway vary pacent and understanding i would say come to st john hardwere and meet Dan his wife the staffAce is the place

It may not have everything, but this little store is remarkably well-stocked, and it is so nice to be able to support a locally-owned store instead of one of those international behemoths like Lowe's or Home Depot. The staff here is always available and helpful, and they have some great finds specifically-suited to our region.
When we first moved in, my neighbor told me that this ACE was her favorite thing about the neighborhood. That didn’t make sense then, but it sure does now. Expert staff, great inventory, and a relaxed atmosphere. This is an amazing local hardware store and an anchor of the St Johns community. I also appreciate that they allow my well-behaved dog to accompany me through the store.
