This place is being shut down for multiple health violations. The staff are intolerable whenever you ask a question, they would shrug it off, and there's horrible smells coming from underneath cabinets. There's always expired foods in the freezers and items are overpriced. Good riddance
This acme is closing at the end of July 2020. When it used to be super fresh it was a fantastic market and all the people who work there were unbelievable. They only saved a few of those people when it transitioned to acme and unfortunately, it was never quite the same. Today however, it was very empty and there were actually two cashiers with no one in line. This is the first time I've ever seen that supermarket without a line and only one cashier. Also, someone helped bag my groceries which was very nice. Since they are closing, there are a lot of things that they don't have in stock, but there are plenty of regular items that you can go in and do a full supermarketing and get in and out quickly. I just hope that whatever goes in there next we'll have good customer service and hopefully a beer and wine area. Also, I prefer that 100% to giant
I am not from the area of this Acme market and my visit was for something quick. The employees were helpful with directing me down to the correct isle for the product I was looking for which made my visit quick. Although I walked around looking for myself before asking for help, it gave me a chance to see a clean nicely ran food market. Stocked shelves, clean environment and and family friendly atmosphere.
Well stocked, good quality fresh foods. Beef roast I purchased has disappointing short sell-by date of 3 days from when I bought it. That was understandable because it cost $4 a pound which was much less than the other cuts around it. I would prefer having short dated foods separated and clearly marked as reduced price items.
Dirty, smelly store with deteriorating conditions. I would not buy any food that was prepared in this store, but regular groceries are fine unless you care about being over charged. Bottom line, you should just go elsewhere. Blonde Woman with curly hair who runs the store is not pleasant to deal with.
Not bad even though there were only 2 registers open. Everyone was patient, cashiers were great. Like everywhere else aisles were empty of the essentials folks needed but overall good.
Things were very fresh at the Acme today. The prices run about $2.00 more pet item compared to Giant. Good prices on the cut flowers though Acme is convenient for us. They had a good selection of baked hams, as well.
This store used to be Superfresh, and the bakery goods were amazing. Now that it is an Acme, the bakery is still putting out a pretty good selection, but not as tasty. The store itself still has a good selection of prepared foods, produce, and lots of other items. It's big--more room than most of the Acmes around me.
I just recently moved into the area about 3 months ago and this is my nearest supermarket. Each time I go here I seem to have the same nasty cashier. His name is Matt. He is always so nasty and rude. If you ask him a question about a price. He acts like you are bothering him. There are a couple of other employees that needs to be re trained on customer service. Even one of the managers . I'm not sure what her name is but she is the one with the dark hair. She is just as bad as he is. I think I'm going to ride a little further out of the neighborhood and try another supermarket.
Wrong prices charged for several items, very frustrating. Other Acme where I shop gives customer the item for free as long as it’s not a cashier error. This store doesn’t compensate you like that, or even apologize. Not a pleasant shopping experience. By the time I finished at customer service the ice cream had melted and I was late for my next appointment.
