GREAT SERVICE! We recently got new windows installed and afterward our extra-large shade would not roll back up when pulled down. Steve from Acme Window Shade Co came to our house today to resolve the issue. He showed up as scheduled and on time. He very quickly and efficiently identified the problem and fixed it on the spot! He was friendly and professional, left it clean, and his price was most reasonable! My husband was ready to spend hundreds of dollars unnecessarily for a new shade, but Acme Window Shade Co saved the day! I cannot recommend this company highly enough! I haven't been this satisfied with a service call in quite a long time. I would call them again in a NY minute. These guys are truly a breath of fresh air!

We contacted Acme Window Shade for a repair for blinds that were installed by the previous owner of our home. Steve helped us. He was very prompt, kind, and courteous. He scheduled a time to come out to fix the blind within 2 days of our call! He showed up right at the scheduled time and fixed it without any issues. The customer service we received couldn't have been better. Thank you!

Recently moved to Mayfair and needed window coverings but had no idea what I wanted. The sales rep in the show room was exactly what a sales rep should be: informative when I needed it but gave me plenty of space and time to make a solid decision. The installation of new wood blinds was quick and they look great. I even got a voice mail saying the price for the material came in below the estimate and that they would be passing that savings on to me; says a lot about the integrity of this business and is the reason I'm taking the time to write this review. Just make sure when the installer comes to measure your windows that he fully understands what you ordered. I ordered three blinds for a three part front window but he initially measured for the installation of one large blind across all windows.

Steve came out to our house, as promised, to repair two shades which we had purchased from Acme quite a few years ago. In less than an hour he was able to repair both shades IN THE HOUSE without having to take them to the shop and leaving us with two uncovered windows. Good job Steve!

I have purchased all of the blinds in my home through Acme Window Shade and highly recommend them. I had a small issue with my vertical blinds, and Steve promptly came out and fixed it free of charge. Thanks, Steve!

I want to state categorically that the negative reviews from 2 years ago are either false or not relevant to Steve and the services currently provided. We have used Acme several times in the past 40 years we have been in our Elkins Park home. Recently we replaced our hard-to-find, historically accurate, bedroom window shades. The old hardware wasn't adequate for the new version and Steve replaced them all. In all ways he was a joy to have in our home

Have had way too many problems getting the window treatments I ordered. Contact with the saleman/installer has been difficult. How hard is this guys? Will not be using them again and would suggest not looking here for window treatments. Update: I was told 15 minutes before my scheduled installation that my shutters actually had not come in. Be warned that this is how this company does business. This is a scam. Do not deal with Acme Window Shade.

They appear to be clised for good. They removed Acme shade sign at least 2.months ago and put cardboard up over door & window. They repaired 2 shades a few years ago and had poor service then. Drove there twice in middle of day and dump was closed. Ahole hot annoyed when I called and asked them if they intended to be open and available next 2 hours so I could pick up shades they had for over a month.

This guy still hasn’t gotten back to me about shades I ordered from him 6 weeks ago. I was told they’d be ready in 4 days. I’ve called him about a dozen times, and his “mailbox is full” wonder why? so I can’t leave a voicemail. Do yourself a favor and just get shades cut at Lowe’s or depot... it isn’t rocket science. It’s cheaper and you won’t have to deal with this guy.
