Acropolis Grill

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I had calamari and parmesan chicken which was delicious with a cup of soup and the soup was Greek style which I never had before but I absolutely loved it. I went in with my year old son, he was offered a bowl of fruits by our server which was very kind. The environment is nice and cozy, they are usually busy throughout the day because it's good food. The prices were reason available, wide selection of drinks as well plus seafood. Also has a coffee bar as well as a regular bar.

Great wine selections. Good atmosphere, good service and delicious menu. I will be a repeat customer whenever I am in Chattanooga. This restaurant was recommended to me. A little pricey but worth every penny. Enjoy!

Good service and great food with home size (large) portions. Calamari was cooked right and the chicken gumbo seasoned well. All the entree's have been great too. The mixed grill is a good sampler as is the greek combo to get an idea of the food. Risotto was creamy with good texture. Lamb chops were meaty and went great with the mint pesto. The only negative was on the way out I picked up a tray of baklava, one of my favorites. The whole tray was a soggy wet mess with no crunch on the filo whatsoever, so stay away from it. Tasted like it was made with sugar syrup instead of honey too.

I'm a fan of Mediterranean and was happy to see this nice looking restaurant. They have a great drink menu and a small coffee/pastry bar in front. Where they fell short was quality. I decided to have a Greek salad with gyro meat. The salad was okay, but the biggest turn off was the meat. It was clearly from a box, with it's consistent shape, bland flavor, lack of char. It was roughly the texture of spam. For a place that goes through the effort of having a flaming cheese appetizer, they need to invest in a spit to roast their gyro meat.

The food here is delicious and affordable. They have a good variety of traditional Greek food that come in very large portions. The menu has lots of options that will satisfy almost anyone. Not to mention that have an enormous dessert selection of fresh made goods.
