Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe Franklin, TN

Great little restaurant we found by chance. Ordered the salmon with Greek salad and rice. The food was terrific. The owner Bobby Mays went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. A small wine list but very adequate. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and return if we ever return to Franklin. Very reasonable price.

Its a my new favorite place. The food is incredibly flavorful, well priced and fast. The online ordering is great for grabbing lunch in a rush. I had the lamb gyro and it was fantastic. The lamb and vegetables were very fresh and cooked to order. Its a great place to go if your short on time but don't want to compromise flavor.

Taziki's is an interesting take on Greek food. As a chain restaurant you can see the streamlining process in full view here. Food is served quickly and very efficiently. Within 10 minute of ordering at the kiosk we had our food. Sadly, the food suffers for that streamlining. A small grouping of chips, a nice bowl of cut fruit and an underwhelming chicken gyro. The chicken was dry, very dry. There are better chicken gyros out there, and at better prices to boot. I will be back to try the lamb and beef gyros but on first impression this is a chain restaurant that's fast at service but the food suffers for it.

Was happily surprised that a chain restaurant had such a delicious selection of greek food! I was able to quickly order online for pickup as soon as they opened for lunch. My order was perfect and the staff greeted me promptly. I recommend the Lamb Gyro, as they use real Lamb and the sauce really improved the flavor. My only complaint is the limited parking, but that is more of a "Franklin on Sunday" problem than the fault of the restaurant. Can't wait to go back!
