Acting Business Boot Camp

I took Peter Pamela Rose’s weekend intensive a few years back and I am definitely reaping the benefits. Since taking the intensive I signed with my first legit agent and am currently freelancing with a commercial agent who frequently sends me out. I booked work with Disney and various regional theatres, a couple commercials, and started my own theatre company. Being a “graduate” with a couple years of my own experience under my belt, what really has kept my success going is being able to think like an agent or a casting director in terms of the business. It has caused me to be more savvy and confident within my business relationships. I have made invaluable connections because of this thinking, which Peter explains in her class as “speaking French,” and the people/classes she introduced me to. (I’m also still great friends with members of my class! In the next two weeks I have two theatre appointments, one theatre callback, one commercial callback, and one webseries shoot. With continued dedication and grit and the guidance I received from Peter, I was able to get on the right track those few years ago that led me to the success I have today.

Peter's ABBC has changed my acting career in the most positive way. After following her advice, I signed with my first agent, booked a pilot, and then booked a co-star role for an upcoming tv show. I am forever grateful for Peter's love and guidance. She's simply the best.

I just attended the two-day intensive workshop and completely blown away by the amount of practical information and insight provided by Peter Pamela Rose. Everything was organized and focused and allowed me to really think through the process becoming a working actor. Peter created an warm, fun, and safe environment for everyone to ask questions, share their stories and voice their concerns. She's a breath of fresh air in a field where it's challenging to get guidance and resources that can really help improve your chances of success. What amazing coach and team of new friends! I attended Peter Pamela Rose's Intensive a couple of years ago based on my wife's recommendation. I had been working with varying degrees of success in the industry for some time, but I felt I needed to clarify my intentions and reignite a passion and fire for acting as an art and as a business. PPR's weekend was enlightening and encouraging in so many ways. We're all trying to bridge the gap between our artistry and our industry. Peter's workshop acknowledges this quest on an individual scale and tailors it to each attending artist. I've achieved a great deal as a result of this intensive...since the workshop, I've been consistently working-Roles on Network Televison, Off-Broadway, Touring, and Looping/ADR extensively!!!
