Friendly staff and doctor. My experience at Action Urgent Care exceeded my expectations. The hours of the office worked with my schedule. The registration process was simple and fast. The medical assistant who registered me as a first time patient welcomed me and was super attentive to all of the patients checking in and out. I appreciated the knowledge and advice the provider gave me. My doctor was great and if I ever need to come back I know I’m in good hands.
Doctor consultation was great. They do covid, flu and strep tests before. Dr. Megan is really good. It took around 1.5hrs in spite of scheduled appointment with different in-clinic tests. They should increase the seating arrangement in the waiting area as there is room for only 2. Overall it's good.
Got feet aches on a heavy rainy Saturday night, I searched out this one from google map, its website showed its availability so I called them to make an appointment for 15 minutes later. Got checked in quickly cuz downloaded their apps. The treatment was also good and quick. Although I went to a podiatrist later on weekdays for more care, but as an UR, this one did their job well. The facility is new, line is short, and they see babies as well. Highly recommended!
Quick service, good treatment. Prescriptions called into the pharmacy and I was able to pick them up very quickly. I had bronchitis and didn’t feel well. Both the doctor and the staff were caring and professional.
The place has records of my "last visit" being at a time when I had never lived in the US, nor was I in the US to visit. I've asked them to correct this multiple times across multiple years, and provided the correct date each time, but they do not seem to update their records. I routinely get asked if I'm still on medication that they took me off years ago again, it's as if they don't update their record. This has caused complications getting medication from the pharmacy for two years. They've lost booked appointments multiple times. Wait times are extremely long, whether on the phone or in the clinic. I am regularly at the clinic for over an hour even when I've made an appointment for things that should only take about fifteen minutes and do elsewhere. I've been at this clinic for two and a half years and will be finding a new place in the new year.
Had been suffering from throat allergy since two weeks, tried all anti allergy tablets which was of no use until a friend recommended this clinic as she had a good experience before. I didn’t had to wait for long even though I was a walk-in patient. The doctor gave some good advice/tips and recommended effective anti allergy medicine which gave me a lot of relief.
Dr. Alice was kind and caring, she immediately recognized the problem that my family member was experiencing. She administered the medications typically used to lower high blood pressure, and when that did not work she sent us to the ER with very detailed info that helped the ER expedite the critical care. she followed with a call to the ER and contacted us as well to check on my family member. May God continue blessing Dr Alice and the staff at Montague Urgent Care.
The worst and the shadiest urgent care I've ever been to. They cancelled our appointment at the last moment and did not even contact us for the same. When we arrived at the location, they were not ready to help and said that they don't have any doctor for that day. HOW CAN AN URGENT CARE NOT HAVE A DOCTOR AT THE LOCATION IF THE LOCATION IS OPEN. My girlfriend was very sick and because we had an appointment, we did not care about getting a backup appointment. This whole mess caused a lot of pain to us. Would never suggest this place to anyone.
UPDATE: No one from Action Urgent Care ever reached out despite their contrite response. They are absolutely horrible. I've gone to them twice and both times I've had to go to other providers to get the care I needed. On my most recent visit I ping-ponged between multiple locations because of miscommunications, waited over an hour because the on-schedule doctor didn't come in, then was sent to another location where the "doctor" used Google to diagnose my issue, was then asked to retake tests I'd already taken at the first location, then told to go back to that first location because they didn't have the supplies necessary for taking bloodwork. When I voiced my frustration they offered to void my appointment but would offer me no proof of the void; instead they gave me their manager's number to call. Totally unprofessional. Will not make the mistake of going there again.
I went in to this urgent care last week as I woke up with pain in my ear following a week of cold symptoms. The doctor checked my ear, found no infection, treated me with nebulizer, which provided relief to my ear as it loosened up congestion. However, the doctor did not seem to show much concern for my underlying condition- which was cold symptoms for over a week- cough with wheezing at times. She did prescribe an albuterol inhaler. 3 days after my visit to the urgent care, I developed 105 fever and had to be taken to emergency and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I am disappointed that the doctor at this urgent care did not check my chest thoroughly. The ordeal of going to emergency and going through the high fever could have been avoided if at least an x ray was performed to check the status of my chest congestion last week itself.
