Admirable Painting

We recently had our 1903 Victorian painted by Bill and his wonderful crew. Painting of these older homes is not only about enhancing their appearance....it about keeping them alive and in good shape for the next "steward" who will be in charge of caring for these irreplaceable gems of our city's landscape. Simultaneously, we were also having new color matched storm windows installed to replace the old brown ones. This required some coordination on Admirable's part and they got it done. When the installers came to put in the new windows, one of them mentioned to me, "if you're curious about the quality of the painters' workmanship at the tip top of the dormers, I can tell you it equally as good as the workmanship you can see up close." That's the type of workmanship that's tough to find these days! We look forward to hiring Bill and welcoming back his crew for a full interior renovation! Thank you for your quality work and hustle!

Admirable Painting recently painted our duplex. They did a fantastic job on a property that was a bear to tackle. From explaining their past work, asking questions that I hadnt thought of, and making excellent suggestions we were very pleased with all aspects of this project. Their price was fair and they followed thru in what they said they would. They also painted our primary residence 7 years ago and that is why we chose them for this current job. I would like to respond to Taylor Stone's review. I take responsibility for not notifying her of the work to be performed. Since the painting was all exterior we felt there was no need. That was a mistake on our part, but to use that as a basis for a negative review is unacceptable. To leave a bad review and effect a persons buisness for something that was not their fault is not right. While i sympathise with working til the early hours in the morning, painting in the summer means starting early to avoid problems with the paint. I cannot help and will not penalize a company for getting the job done quickly and efficently. Her verbal harassment and foul language to the workers and in her review was and is unacceptable.

Although they did a decent job. They were very disrespectful and didn't seem to care at all about my work schedule. I work 5pm-5am 6days a week. The company or landlord had not informed me the tenant that they would be here. The company starts drilling and scraping and banging on the house at 7:30 in the morning! What's more frustrating is they take a break around 1, and are done at 3. So after getting a little over an hour of sleep, and not being able to fall back asleep.. I have to wait until 3. And that leaves me with one hour before I have to get ready for work. So although I've talked to the company and had no response... I can hear their responses through my windows. They are very disrespectful, and I am very frustrated. Thought their services would be done Friday, but they didn't return until Tuesday. Maybe they should learn a little thing about respect.
