The guy I spoke with on the phone calling himself Pedro claimed to be the manager but I hope he was just a disgruntled employee pretending to be the manager. He answered the phone with an attitude and was giving me the wrong information while also being a d*ck about it for no reason pretty funny when I think about it, in hindsight. I found out later when speaking to customer service that the policy he was citing on returns was completely wrong. It's one thing to be rude but when you are also dumb, it really makes it difficult to deal with someone. I'll avoid this store and try to give Advanced Auto another chance at a different location.
I bought a pt brake tool about a year ago LIFETIME WARRANTY unfortunately with tax season I wasn’t able to recover my receipt . Also with my account number I went to the store twice and the lady upfront just did not want to work with me and kept being extremely rude . So I went to the advanced on colfax and got my tool replaced no questions asked !!! Man what bad service some people can cause she didn’t give me her name but the managers Is CHARLIE. Bad
"GENERAL MANAGER" takes car phone holder and smashes the suction cup to a metal shelf to show how strong it is. As if any car has a metal dashboard to attach it to. Refused to refund as it had been "used" when it would not hold for even a block. Will not use this store even though it's in within walking distance of my house. No customer service and sarcastic attitude ruined the store for me.
They did have the optima battery I wanted in stock but said they don’t do free installation at this store. Kind of a bummer since the sign above all the batteries say “free installation”
Went to pick up a part that was ordered online and they can’t find the order. The gentleman who helped us mumbles and is hard to understand. Now have to go to a different place for a part that I have already paid for and hope I can get my money back. Did not get the money back and it’s been over a week.
STAY AWAY from this AAP. They refused to refund me my money after selling me a defective battery can't hold a 12v charge, which also happened to be the wrong size for my car, after assured the smaller size would work fine. My car was dead on the road 2 days later. The shop I took it to tested the new battery and confirmed the battery was bad, yet the manager tried lying to me, telling me it was testing fine. When I asked to see it, I saw it was at 11.1V well below what's required to start my car. I told him my car has a 12V system and showed him my manual, but he assured me I didn't know what I was talking about, because he has 10+ years of experience pshhh. The only thing he would do for me is replace the battery with the same exact one wrong size + not dependable, when I already had a working battery from the shop that I had to take it to. Big thanks to Store#8733 for helping me fix this headache.
Customer service was so bad! Didn't know how to find my part and was rude when I asked a question! After ten minutes of searching for a simple part i just had to leave because of the tension in the air! Go somewhere else this company doesn't seem to train their employees!

This place is a hot mess no one knows anything . And then they want to act like dummies on the phone where is management in this place . They all need to take customer service classes hell start with an education..
Waited all day for a battery just for them to cancel it before I needed to pick it up. Ordered at 11- cancelled at 2:30. No call, no reason. I called twice
