My check engine light and tire pressure light both came on, so I stopped in on Friday. They couldn't fit me in that day, so they let me make an appointment for Sunday. I was in and out pretty quickly as quickly as any other shop, and Brandy's customer service was phenomenal. She updated me when they started or finished something, and was just generally great. Definitely taking my car here for any other issues!
Highly recommend these guys! I am very fond of my locally owned mechanic Maple Garage- check them out, but they are not open on the weekends and due to a flat tire/need for an oil change I had to go elsewhere. I tend to be suspicious of chain auto shops as they like to upsell/add on charges so I was nervous going to Pep Boys but I was in for a pleasant surprise! During the whole experience, I felt well-informed on the status of my vehicle, and well-respected, even as a female car owner not trying to pull the gender card, but....it's the reality sometimes. They found nails in two of my tires and I had to get all four replaced which took all day, but due to the length of my wait they took the oil change off my bill! Without me even asking! TLDR: This is a great spot, fantastic customer service and they get the job done.
I’ve been going here for a few years now with my vehicle and with Uber vehicles. Usually they are pretty nice and willing to put on parts if I bring them in. But they always take a very long time and multiple times I’ve been bumped in the line because they scheduled incorrectly. I’ve always been loyal and would prefer to take my car to the same mechanic. However, I’ve tried to schedule an appointment for new brakes. I’ve called Thursday, Friday, and Sunday and apparently no one was there to answer the phones. I want to continue working with them but I can’t seem to schedule an appointment.
I only go to dealerships to get services done because so many other businesses just don’t get the job right. I just had a patched tire that I needed to put back on, and needed an oil change as well. I stopped into this Pep Boys because it was closest for me to drive with the tiny spare tire. Brandy’s relaxed but cheerful energy was refreshing! She was very helpful in answering some tire questions, and even offered me chocolate while I waited. Not to mention the tech got the tire on, and an oil change done within an hour or less. Will definitely be back!
Terrible service— do NOT waste your time or money here!! My partner and I made an appointment two days in advanced to have our tires rotated and balanced. We dropped the car off on time and were told it would take 30-60 minutes max. Two and a half hours later the car still wasn’t done. They finally call to tell us that the car is ready, but when we show up they say it’ll still be another 20-30 minutes. They apparently found a screw in our tire and patched the hole, and the reason our 30-60 minutes took nearly three hours is because of some unexpected engine fire with another car — which is understandable; they couldn’t have possibly planned for it, but they certainly could have called us to tell us about the delay, and they didn’t. Then, once the tech comes out and tells us our car is finally ready, he says that he couldnt actually balance the tires because there was too much mud on them and the tech said, as rude as possible, that he’s “not in the business of washing tires.” My tire pressure gauge was still on, but he said there was nothing they could do. If they can’t properly balance dirty tires— and they have a business IN Colorado, where people frequently have dirty tires, why would they not have told us that before we brought the car in for the tires to be balanced? Then we could have washed our tires— which actually had dust on them but absolutely no mud stuck in the treads or anywhere on the tires. Or, once they saw the tires and couldn’t properly balance them while ‘dirty,’ why not call us to have us pick the car up/wash the tires— especially since we were already waiting for almost three hours for nothing? Also, nearly a day after my ‘service,’ my front passenger tire was completely flat. So not only did they never fix the hole they found, they actually made it worse because I didn’t have a flat before! I’m absolutely appalled that we paid money and waited three hours for such lazy, unprofessional service. Do NOT waste your time or money here!
I had an issue with one of my wheels after these guys swapped my tires my fault the issue occurred and they sent someone to drive out, and assist me with my issue. They went above and beyond what was reasonable and really made sure I was taken care of. Highly recommend. They have late hours in the week days also which is great if you work 9-5 and need work done during the week.
Brandy Mixon was wonderful! She went out her way to make sure we made it home. We’re from Missouri and we visited Denver for Labor Day weekend and we didn’t realize til Sunday that we desperately needed an oil change. The car was running pretty bad. We came in an hour before close on Saturday and she had us scheduled for first thing the next morning, meaning ON Labor Day. The mechanic got the job done real fast and they even pointed out an issue that could have been devastating. If we would have broken down in Kansas, we would of had to pay thousands to get home and we had our 2 year old in the car! Great service and great job! Definitely recommend them.
I made an appointment online for a $19.99 oil change. When I arrived I informed them who I was and was here for the oil change. He told me it would be $36. I told him about the offer I received and even pulled it up on my phone and he said okay no problem. They had signs everywhere of their guaranteed 30 minute oil change and free WiFi. No wifi and 90 minutes later my car was ready and again I was told $36. When I showed the manager on their website where I made the appt which still offered a $19.99 oil change he refused to honor it and stated he "Wasn't responsible for online offers." He charged me $25 dollars and said "that's close enough." Was losing my business really worth $5?
Incredible customer service! They fixed my battery, gave me a great price on tires, replaced my brakes, and changed my oil within hours for a very reasonable price. The nice customer service man up front was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I will be back!!
Let me start by saying this is the Sunday before Christmas 2018. The new assistant Manager Brandy was great !!! She located the tires I needed right away while I was on the phone with her I’d been looking for my size, in stock for 2 days and set an appointment for me within the hour. I went there and they mounted and balanced my hard to find tires right away. The total was LESS, yes, LESS than initially quoted. I love the Falken tires they put on my Ford Focus Titanium!!! Rode home on Cloud 9!!! Thank you for saving my holiday season!!!
