Advanced Skylight Systems

We had and old 6 foot oversized skylight that was leaking and needed to be replaced. I called around and the only company in Albuquerque that could do the work was Advanced. Eric and his crew were extremely helpful, eager and friendly - such a wonderful change from people who really don’t want to be of service. Our new skylight is now in place.

Customer service is lacking. Skylights take longer than expected. When calling to check on the order was told either; "call back tomorrow" or "my guy might be able to make it by the end of the week". The skylight itself was made to the specifications as required and fairly priced. If you are not in a hurry and don't mind waiting a couple of weeks products work well

I wholeheartedly recommend this local manufacturer and installer of skylights. I just had them replace 8 skylight domes, including thermal panels. I was very pleased with the result. Advanced Skylight Systems offered competitive prices, high-quality skylights and expert installation. The installer, Eric, is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure customer satisfaction. My skylights were installed on time, for a fair price and as anticipated. I love the light streaming into my house.

I had a very unusual experience with this place...still waiting over two months later. I ordered a replacement skylight around the 1st or 2nd of August. Should have known something was askew when he couldn't tell me how long it would take. Called one week later and left a message, no call back. Called two weeks later and spoke to him, said he would figure out a time frame but then never called back. Called three weeks later for the unusual experience rather than just the bad experiences thus far. I said hello and that I was calling about a skylight I'd ordered three and a half weeks ago. It was 3:30 so much earlier than their 4:30 closing time. He got very squirrely, quickly saying: "I'm not in the office, call back tomorrow." Then hung up on me. Why not, "oh I'm sorry please give me your name and number and I'll follow up"? Or just, I'm sorry and something, anything with a hint of professional attitude? VERY unprofessional and inconsistent. My neighbors worked with him during the same time frame and had a positive experience. I was never rude to this person or had any unreasonable requests or expectations. Save yourself the hassle and go with someone else. I wanted to shop locally but not at any cost. The place in AZ I didn't want to go to at first ended up supplying my skylight within three days...from Arizona.

Buyer Beware. We ordered and prepaid for skylight domes and were told originally they would be done in one week - then when we called, he said no, he told us two weeks and then on week three they were finally done after we called. Our roofing contractor could not install them because they were made improperly and we were told by Advanced Skylight that they do not warranty their work/product and would not be issuing a refund or replacement on skylight domes that due to their error - we now could not use and had to purchase from another company to finish the job. Apparently poor business practices and terrible customer service are the "advanced" work this company does.

Great local skylight manufacturer. These guys can make any skylights you need!

Horrible customer service. Very rude and doesn’t care to help. Instead of helping me, he just tried to make me sound stupid with the questions i was asking. Thanks..... for nothing.
