Adventure Travel in Lawton Oklahoma Is THE place to go for making both business and pleasure travel arrangements. Their travel agents, in particular Heidi Hudson and George Johnsen, have decades of experience in making the initial arrangements, keeping you updated on changes before you leave, then supporting you if the unexpected occurs on the trip, and finally helping you if follow-up actions are required after the trip.
For example, on one of our recent trips for a Viking River cruise in Europe, our plane was delayed for many hours on the way over, and we thought we would miss boarding our ship at the first port. We called Heidi several times as we waited for our flight and she contacted the Viking representatives to make them aware that we might miss the ship and gathered information on how we could meet it at it next port if we did. Fortunately we caught the ship with minutes to spare, but knowing that we could rely on Heidi gave us peace of mind that it would work out OK even if we missed the ship’s sailing. On our last trip, Air France went on strike, causing us to have to delay our return by one day. Heidi helped us reschedule the flight, rescheduled the motel reservation in Oklahoma City, and even filled out the paperwork after we returned to collect reimbursement from Air France for the expenses incurred by strike’s delays.
This travel agency and its agents know how to handle any situation and are willing to do whatever is necessary to aid you as you travel. Whenever we start thinking about making a trip, our first action is to go to Adventure Travel and talk to an agent. Using their expertise enables us to consider a variety of options in the planning stages, and we know that we have a team of supporters at Adventure Travel if we have questions or need assistance as we take the trip.

We buy all of our travel through them! Katherine and the other staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable on planning a trip. I always feel more comfortable booking through Adventure Travel because they are a resource before, during, and after the trip. Highly recommend!!!

I have used Adventure for years on planning my families vacations. Working with Katherine has made everything very easy and worry free. Looking forward to more trips through them.

The only way to go I don't even bother using the internet anymore I go straight to George so if you go to this company as for George

Do not assume they are, (or should I say HE Is ) a professional and know what they are doing. Double, triple check. Treat them like they will make a mistake. Dont trust him to get it right the first time.
I tried to make a flight for myself and kids to return home with their father. He will be returning from overseas and we were going to meet him in CA to spend time with family and return home. I had my husband's booked itinerary in front of me to match. The agent found the correct flights. He did read them to me and I checked them as he was saying it, with my 18 year old daughter next to me as a witness. Everything sounded correct. I pay. He prints the itinerary (Which btw has no viewing appeal or color for easy viewing). I just take it assuming it is what he read to me. My fault for not looking right then. Yesterday, I tried to book seats together and notice my flight was for 2 days earlier than my husband. We were to return on the 28th. My itinerary said 26th. Coincidentally, I booked on the 26th of January. I don't know how the mistake was made because I gave the correct dates and he read back it to me. He tells me I would have to pay $800 to get it fixed. I understand the policy but that was not my mistake, it was his. No way. I always book my own flights, but I was in the mall and thought, what the heck. They are professionals. Never will use them . I should have booked my own flight. BTW he also said I got an email with the itinerary. I didn't see one because the email they sent made no reference to adventure travel in email address nor subject. It was so easily overlooked. I take blame for not checking, but they should have tried to fix the situation because he knew the date I was trying to book. I should at least get a refund for service fee because the service was not what I requested.Their computer mistake???agent mistake??? If you use him double and triple check everything!!!
