Affordable German Auto Repair

These guys are incredible & extremely knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose what was going on with my car in a matter of minutes of me pulling into their shop. Where a different shop quoted me 10k for a new engine wasn’t an engine related problem. They’re super accommodating, super quick, and very kind. You can tell they really care about making their customers happy. Plus bonus points for adorable, very friendly rescue dogs. P.S: For ladies who are trying to find an honest shop, this is the one!

A friend of mine who is a Volkswagen mechanic recommended Affordable German. I called in advance, and asked if and when- they would be able to take my car? I explained the services I needed, and was given a quote. The quote was very fair and the waiting time for repairs was only two weeks, which is faster than most. Bill called me to let me know exactly what was wrong with my car and verify all of the work, before it was done. Bill is friendly, caring and understanding. My first impression of him is that he is a wonderful human! He did the repairs quickly. The overall price was even lower that the original quote. I saved a ton of savings, by coming here. I have been back on the road for three weeks now, with zero issues! I am very pleased. I cannot recommend Affordable German enough

Honest shop. Bill has gone above and beyond the call of duty. They’ve been in business for years, could have possibly trained half of phoenix’s European mechanics. If you have what they work on, seems like it’d be the only place to go. Fair prices, care about people and know their stuff.

I first used Bill when he was working out of his home garage and he replaced the engine on my vw rabbit. I have been using and referring folks to Bill’s shop for 29 years. One time I had a VW van and it broke down in Odham AZ, which is in the middle of no where. Bill drove his personal vehicle there and fixed it for free because they had recently repaired that part of the van and it failed. Don’t know a soul on this planet that would do that!! He is honest, reliable, friendly and overall an amazing human. He is a straight shooter and knows his craft inside and out. He will not try to sell you on anything doesnt other than exactly what your car needs! Laslty, his prices are the best you will ever find!Services: Exhaust

This is the only shop in town that knows what they are doing with VW eurovans. My 2003 had a clock spring that VW doesn't make anymore, but they brought it back to life. And they found a new one somewhere in the US just in case they couldn't fix it, something that I had given up on. Going to be going back, that's for sure.

Bill and Daniel were super kind and knowledgeable about my 2002 VW Eurovan. The work they did and recommended was professional, high quality and affordable. My Q5 is currently in their shop, and I could not be happier to have found them. If you've heard it once, you've heard it a million times--these are excellent cars, but require someone who really understands and knows them to keep them running in great shape. Not only are they competent, but they have been men of their words so far--they've called when they said they would call, and they've given nothing but honest assessments of my vehicle. In the end, I've found a go-to based on the three most important components I'm looking for: Honesty/Integrity, Competency, and Price. It's legitimately half the cost of going to the dealer, and they know what they're doing. Win-win-win. UPDATE: To make it better, yesterday they called to let me know they'd have me out the door "in the region of $550." That was a great deal already. Today when I picked my car up, I was out the door for $456. INTEGRITY, HONESTY, AND DOING THE RIGHT THING BY THE CUSTOMER... So glad to have found these guys.

I was on the road in my 85 VW westy with some problems that were stressing me out, and it was such a relief to be able to bring it to people as knowledgeable and friendly as Bill and Dan. Bill made time on short notice to help diagnose and repair some problems I was having, taught me a few things along the way, and got me going again later the same day with a huge weight off my shoulders. If you have to break down, make sure to break down near these guys!
