Their website is great but the products shown do not match what is delivered.

I have never written a review for any business, good or bad. But after my experience with this florist, and more notably Barbara, I felt compelled to. Akard Florists delivered a dissapointing array of flowers to a memorial service for my uncle that looked nothing like the arrangement I ordered from their wesite. When I called to express my concerns, Barbara was rude, defensive and unapologetic. She claimed they only get flower deliveries every two weeks, and they reserve the right to substitute similar flowers as stated on thier website. I told her I was aware of this, but it also states that the arrangement would look similar in color and theme. I ordered a simple and respectful purple and yellow arrangement and was sent one that had every color under the rainbow. It was a hodge podge of any and all flower types they had on hand to try and achieve a look symetrical in size to what I ordered. We were quite embarrassed of the arrangemnt when we saw it in person. She began to argue with me insisting that she saw the arrangemnt herself and she tought it was lovely. She also told me most peple would have though it was lovely. She then told me I shoud have ordered them over the phone versus online because they would have told me that they dont carry any of those flowers. Why do you even have a website to choose from if you dont carry those flowers??? Why doesnt it state that you should call to see what is availible??? Very misleading. Her only offer was to go and pick up the arragnment from my newly widowed grieving aunt since i was unhappy with it. Really??!!!! She then snarkily said, "Well, what do you want me to do then? She already has the flowers." When I told her I would prefer some type of compensation and to speak to an owner, she told me they were too busy to speak with me, she doubted that they would do anything and that she would speak to them. She then hung up on me. Still waiting to hear back. Not sure why you have a 1-800 customer service number that guarantees 100% satisfaction when clearly Barbara could care less what customers think about your flowers and her customer service is to tell you that you're wrong. I should have been advised by the other terrible reviews I saw on yelp and goggle.

I would NOT recommend this florist. First of all what you see on their website is certainly NOT what is delivered. It looked awful and I guess I should have listened to the other review about the owner is very short with you and snotty. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the flowers that were delivered to my mom for Mother's Day.
