Al-Amir Cafe

I had the chicken platter. The chicken was very average. The platter came with a decent amount of rice and a salad. My friend had the mega gyro sandwich which was had a good portion of gyro for the price and he liked it. The white sauce is subpar and too watery. Humus was also average. I would return to this place as a convenient halal option that is a quick bite but this is more like a hole in the wall and not a nice place to sit and enjoy a nice meal out. The sitting area would get at best 2 star.

We love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. They make sure you're happy. The restaurant is usually clean which is a big plus!

Went here at 11:45a on a Friday. Ordered the chicken schawarma wrap ($5.99) and a can of coke ($1). Wrap was very good, contained a hefty portion of chicken which was properly cooked, seasoned and cubed, along with a good ratio of sauce and lettuce. Ate at a table. The inside of this place could use some really basic TLC including cleaning and paint. I recommend getting the food to-go.

Their gyro is authentic, fresh and delicious. Don't plan on eating in. Not a lot of space. Better carry out.
