Al's Gourmet Pizza

I live a half block away. We order all the time. Never had a bad pizza. Ignore the decor rating; this is strictly pickup or delivery. I always pick it up myself so fewer service issues. Best pizza Ive had in the area.

Burned crust, didn't have the toppings I wanted, tasted like leather and, to add insult to injury, I was overcharged. I ordered the traditional pizza medium size for $ll.45 with two toppings, each $1.65. Was charged $18.45. I didn't pay attention to the overcharge until I got home. Joint is unsanitary and the one man handling money and food without gloves was rude and seem to be angry. Stay away from this place if you value your health.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered from grub hub and it estimated delivery for 1 hour. It came an hour and 20 mins late. Didn’t give me ranch for my onion rings. I told them come to the back of the house. Also to call when they were 5 mins away. Did none of that. When the driver said he was here I said come to the back and he yelled at me then finally came to the back. Yelled at me some more and I asked for all my change back and he refused and said he didn’t have change. Then finally pulls out a wod of money and gives me $1. Storms off and says f*** you b**** don’t order from here again. Also pizza was cold. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I had mixed feeling with this place. Some times the service is good and some times it's a little frustrating. The food is usual good but some times I have bean taken back by pore quality. One such time I ordered chicken wings and got back chicken wings with that had the basting come off in my hand and it tasted bad I have not ordered chick from then sense. The outer stuff I got was ok.

Al's is extremely close to home, so I always pick up. The staff has always been friendly and my orders have not been wrong. The pizza isn't life changing, but it is pretty tasty.

They got my order wrong both times I ordered from them. The second time they did not put green peppers on my pizza. Rather than believing me, they made me bring the pizza back. The guy then picked through the pizza with a plastic fork looking for green pepper. After he couldn't find any, they made me another pizza. They gave me the pizza that was picked through with a fork for the inconvenience. Never going back.

Great service and quality pizza. This restaurant don't serve pork of any kind. All the sausage and pepperoni is either beef or turkey based which I love.

Staying at an AirBnb just across the river on 33rd Street. Ordered online, and online order form said I was within delivery range. Found out my order was cancelled and I called about it, and the guy that answered informed me that I was, in fact, out of their delivery range. I looked up the distance on Google Maps and it was 10 minutes. 2 miles. Absolutely unreal.

It was OK. I was expecting a better pizza based on the reviews but the crust was a little too tough I can't tell it was a little over cooked. The staff was very friendly and personable.

My 5 year daughter became ill after eating their pizza. I called the next day to notify the restaurant. The lady was very rude. I filed a complaint with DOH Food Safety & Hygiene Inspection Services.
